Product Customer Reviews
Very well made, quick to set up and take down, perfect for camping. Too heavy for proper trekking, but otherwise unbeatable. Rope in the middle for a lamp etc. 2 pockets perfect for small things and there is still plenty of room for your backpack at the foot end.
The setup is super easy and quick. The ventilation is OK. The pack size is more for a car or bike. The space for sleeping is great, but there is very limited space for two large backpacks.
This is the second tent in this series. There are no better tents
Always buy the tent together with the front tent, never suffer from condensation, some light comes into the tent thanks to the windows of the front tent. I have mounted a thickening on the two cords, so that the cords cannot fall into the two holes when folding the tent when opening the tent. When it rains, the water drains away better thanks to the awning, no wet feet thanks to the awning awning. .
Very good advice given by the department professional; impeccable demonstration and clear explanations, thank you!
the real ease of camping, you don't fight with the tent to fold it
Excellent product that does just what is says on the box. Only downside is it’s slightly weighty.
Super practical tent takes up no space. Opens in 2 minutes by just pressing the button. Totally nights out inside and really keeps cool
I'm a serious camper for more than 20 years. My idea of camping is to travel a lot, so easily setting up the base in the evening and leaving in the morning was the purpose. And this thing delivers!! I own several tents from Coleman, but this thing is simply amazingly easy to set up and put back in place. Easy to transport, too, compared to the old '2 seconds' round shape. Kudos for innovation, Decathlon!
Really too simple to assemble, like opening two umbrellas, the longest part is planting the sardines. Practical storage and total darkness inside, even under a campsite lamp.
I bought the tent in April 2021 for camping trips on my motorcycle. What should be clear to everyone is that a folding tent will always take up more space and/or weight than a conventional tent, in one way or another. So you should think about what the tent is needed for and what compromises you are willing to make. Since a 2-second pop-up tent is hardly transportable on a motorcycle, but I don't feel like having to spend 30 minutes or more setting up a tent and then taking it down again later, this tent is my current compromise. The pack size is quite bulky (compared to the MH100, the conventional version of this tent), but that doesn't really matter on my motorcycle. It either goes on the luggage rack or on the handlebars. The tent can be unpacked in less than 10 minutes and is ready to be set up and guyed. It offers more than enough space for one person with plenty of luggage. Two people can sleep comfortably in it, but then it gets a bit tight inside with the luggage, but there is still room for two backpacks. There is room for improvement in the vestibules, but unfortunately the only thing that stands out about this tent is their almost complete absence. On the left and right, there is still the option of putting motorcycle boots, a small cooler bag or, as in my case, the side cases of the motorcycle underneath, so that they are at least largely hidden from view and also protected from rain from above, but unfortunately have to stand unprotected from below on bare ground. Another shortcoming that can be tolerated is the light color, which is unfortunately very susceptible to stains and of course also ensures that you can be seen from a long distance. I would personally like a version in sand, olive or carmouflage. What hasn't happened to me personally yet, but I can certainly imagine as a running gag at a festival, is that there is no lock for the two pull mechanisms, so there is certainly the possibility that someone from outside walks past and pushes the mechanism in, causing one half of the tent to collapse. Decathlon could definitely improve this! I have spent about 30 nights in the tent so far, set it up and took it down again about 20 times and survived temperatures between -7 and +30 degrees, as comfortably as a small tent allows. In the absence of alternatives, I would definitely buy the tent again, even if I find the price increase of over 30% or exactly €30 (in 2021 it still cost €99) a bit excessive.
For once, a tent that's quicker to take down than to put up. In both cases (but especially during assembly) you must be careful that all the joints unfold in the same direction. As the canvas is attached to the structure, to dry it you have to unfold it, which takes up space.
Great compromise between comfort and speed of installation and storage! Perfect for roaming
Tested while camping, people fell on the tent, which broke the umbrella system and is not covered by the warranty
We don't do any better in terms of speed of assembly and dismantling! Practical for traveling

Composition
Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Structure: 50.0% Polyoxymethylene, 50.0% Glass Fiber
Setting up and breaking down the tent
Enjoy the exclusive ”EASY” push-button technology to pitch your tent in two seconds. The freestanding structure means you can move the tent once assembled to find the perfect location. Instant foldaway: once the tent is no longer under tension, you just need to fold it away in its bag.. First-time questions? Check out the instructions and online video.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend a self-inflating or hiking mattress measuring 25.6” maximum. We do not recommend using inflating mattresses over 2.4” in height as this greatly reduces the available space inside the tent and increases internal condensation..
Ventilation
Flysheet with two side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. The entire rear flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a drawstring. Two spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. This is a fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200L/sqm/h for four hours), as well as in the field (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30mph near the ground (Force 6).
Product testing
Our design team conceives, plans and designs Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. These experiences are highly beneficial for us, allowing us to hear your feedback and start thinking about our future products!
Storage instructions
After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
