This very warm fleece is perfect when the cold sets in. It is really a great help in these circumstances but we cannot say that the air is renewed frequently. However, its softness is very comforting and does the job more than well.

In a few months the product no longer provides heat. I noticed that the quality of Decathlon products has declined significantly in recent years

The perfect solution for anyone sensitive to the cold in winter. Honestly, I use it at home and I appreciate the practicality of this product which has no gray areas. Convenient pockets, zip, hood, always very soft and easy to wash, it has never lost a lint in the washing machine, and I've been using it for years. Definitely excellent value for money, since I discovered it I can't do without it.
I recommend it for winter hiking, it keeps you very warm and comfortable. It's easy to move around. With a spacious pocket.

Warm enough for winter hiking?
Just like the fur or plumage of animals, the brushed interior of this fleece traps the air to keep the heat in. Cuffs at the ends of the sleeves prevent cold air from getting inside to ensure thermal comfort outdoors.
Why is fleece so warm?
Fleece fabric with synthetic fibres to reproduce the performance of wool: warmth, thermal insulation yet still lightweight. It is soft, comfortable, dries quickly and lets the skin to breathe.
A soft but durable fabric
Our products are subjected to strict quality checks to validate their durability. They are tested for their resistance to pilling, discolouration and frequent washing. The Martindale test checks resistance to abrasion, exposing a sample of fabric to continuous friction.
A comfortable and practical fleece
The cut and stretch fabric of this fleece provide ideal ease of movement for hiking on snow.With its zip pockets to keep your belongings safe and warm, as well as the cosy hood, it's ideal for facing the cold at high altitudes.
Dress properly for snow hiking
To face winter, follow the 3-layer principle: 1) Technical and breathable base layer. 2) Sweater or fleece for warmth and moisture transfer. 3) Jacket for protection against bad weather. Make sure it is all breathable to evacuate humidity.
How should you clean fleece?
To machine wash your fleece without damaging it, choose a 40° max. programme. Turn it inside out and make sure that all pockets are done up. Don't spin it on a cycle above 1000 rpm to protect the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
Product testing
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece fabric and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber.These tests reproduce the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you might encounter. They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.
Storage instructions
Store in a dry, dark place.We recommend you avoid using chemicals such as bleach, which could cause deterioration in the garment’s thermal insulation.
