Question:

Is there a way to purchase a new front wheel? I was in a car accident and only my front wheel was damaged.

For sure, the wheel is a stanard size and should be available at your local bike shop. The components are 100% standard and should be easy to find. If you want to re-use exisiting parts, you can ask your local bike shop to rebuild the wheel on a similar rim reusing your hub, and rotor if they were not damaged in the accident.

After the first 1000km, I can say that it is a very good entry level racing bike, excellent value for money.

I made the purchase of…

I bought this bike to move upmarket. A little trouble at first with the double chainring and the gear change but I'm starting to get used to it.

A good bike commuter but not a sportsman

If you are looking for a versatile bike to go to work while being faster than a city bike (including e-bikes ;) ) for cheap this model is ideal. On the other hand if you want a bike to ride on the road I do not recommend it. The microshift transmission is sufficient to go to work but for a sporting practice you will want to change very quickly. Same for the mechanical disc brakes it is not bad but not sufficient compared to hydraulic, I wonder about switching to hybrid calipers (hydraulic with mechanical release). Small modification that I made, switching to 38mm tires, it makes it a more comfortable bike on paths or other without being much less efficient, and then it can be a Gravel to help out!

disappointing: poorly advised and unadjusted bike

I am 1m70 and when I tried it on in store, I was initially advised to order a size S. After trying it on, I was suggested to order a size M. So I ordered and waited. When I received the bike, I was finally advised to test a size L. Unfortunately, this size turned out to be much too big. So I followed the advice and took the size M. However, on my first ride, after 5 km, I felt severe back pain, a clear sign that this bike does not suit my body type. Now I am with a used bike that does not suit me, to the point that I continue to use my old bike. In addition, to my great surprise, no adjustment of the derailleur had been made. Very friendly staff but not very qualified in cycling.

Defect to report: noisy gearbox. For the rest, excellent quality/price ratio.

The perfect price/performance ratio for someone who wants to check if road cycling will be fun for them. It's not the lightest or best-equipped road bike on the market, but the service, warranty and buyback option make it a great choice.

Price-performance hammer

After much deliberation and reading many reviews in all sorts of languages, I bought the Triban RC 120. Knowing that I would be converting it to a gravel bike next year and saving a few bucks, I set about unpacking my package and putting it together. - Superbly packaged, can't complain. - I had to adjust the front brake - and the front gears too (I was only using the largest sprocket anyway) - One of the included orange reflectors on the spokes broke (not so bad, I wanted white ones anyway) + The rear brake worked + The rear gears were also fine + The frame was top quality + The handlebar tape was also good + The saddle was actually surprisingly comfortable. Those are the first and second impressions - the long-term test is still pending. All in all, for €600 including delivery, you can't complain.

Good value for money

A very good bike to start with, but big problems with the assembly service of the Decathlon in Vannes and especially a "squeaking" sound as soon as you get into the pedals as if it was rubbing. Very annoying. The brakes are low-end but sufficient to start with. The tires are relatively slippery.

Great bike for beginners

I recently bought this bike to get started in the world of cycling. I followed the advice of my brother who is more experienced in this and opted for this model. I'm very pleased with the bike as it's affordable and so far it looks great for someone just starting out. I bought the bike at Decathlon in Amadora (Alfragide), but I was very disappointed with the service provided. The employee who gave me the bike said that Decathlon had carried out a review on the bike, however, I had doubts about it: - the steering was crooked. As soon as I got the bike I noticed this and pointed out the defect. The employee recognized the problem and adjusted the direction immediately. - the front gear derailleur was completely out of tune. I didn't try the bike out in a store, but once I got home and tried it on, I immediately noticed the noise the chain made as it scraped against the front derailleur in most gears. I went the next day to the Lisbon Centro Decathlon, where they immediately recognized the problem, but were unable to resolve it. - the tire pressure was too low! The pressure of both tires came to around 37 psi, when the minimum pressure indicated in the tire instructions is 76 psi. I believe that Decathlon should pay greater attention to the reviews carried out on the bikes they sell, as, especially for someone like me who is just starting out, it can be dangerous. Despite the bad experience buying the bike, I am extremely satisfied with the product itself and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy their first bike.

Ideal road bike for beginners

Great bike for the price

At this price it's unbeatable. A versatile, comfortable road bike, with a look that I love. Well adjusted by the store too. To be seen over time but after a few weeks it's great

icon-circle-checkmark verified purchase
Price/performance very good!

For this price, the performance is really top notch! The bike is used for everyday use or for short tours of 20-40km, and is absolutely sufficient for that. The gears are sufficient for fast rides and hilly landscapes are no challenge either. The brakes could be a bit stronger, but that's certainly a matter of adjustment. Absolutely top notch for 550.-!
