Good aïllant, comfortable and easy to assemble and disassemble. Good option better than the usual marfegues.
Fairly light, excellent value for money. Fairly durable and sturdy product from my experience. One note: the construction makes the mattress thinner at the feet. It's silly because that's often where we're cold.
It is through difficult times that we realize who our true friends are, and this mattress is for sure one of my most faithful companions... After spending 6 months on the street, I have been sleeping for 1 month on the table of a construction site bengalow and this mattress has not let me down day after day for 6 months despite the use I make of it... It is light, very easily transportable and insulates me from the cold which has been rather harsh recently 😅 I highly recommend this product, which should suit all budgets and which frankly will do the job of a sea to summit if you are not too demanding in terms of comfort (it is clearly not an Emma mattress). I thank the Decathlon team for designing this product :)

Great to take on bike trips, it takes up little space and allows you to rest quite comfortably. Given my size (170cm) in hindsight I should have opted for the larger size, but for the use I make of it this is also fine!

How to choose the size of your mt500 mattress
This model is available in L and XL version. The difference between the 2 sizes on the length (180 cm for the L; 195 Cm for the XL) and width (52 cm for size L; 60 cm for the XL).To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that. Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!
Tips for sleeping well on your mattress
Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by slightly pressing the IN valve (open cap). A mattress that is too hard is often synonymous with discomfort.Silicone patches on the top of the mattress are designed to reduce the sliding of your sleeping bag on the mattress.

An inflatable mattress is not puncture-proof but it can be repaired!When using it, take every care when installing and handling it. What is the r-value?
The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor.The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress.Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.
