Product Customer Reviews
Second one I bought, delighted with the quality
Very light and warm. They fit well and are well made. Very good quality
Recommended for this money
Comfortable & warm
It is not very thick but it warms a lot. It dries quickly and, importantly, does not retain bad odors. Excellent for keeping comfortable and warm.
My son loved it for his scout camps in winter. Keeps you warm but doesn't make you sweat. The product is quite expensive though
I don't know who the rubber was designed for, but it could cut me in two. Anyway, it's comfortable to wear under jeans, because it's thin enough for that, but that's also its drawback. Someone wrote that they bought it for outdoor work and it worked well, because it's very warm. I think they feel comfortable without it. If someone has a slightly lower tolerance for cold, I wouldn't recommend this below 8-10 degrees! There's not much left above that when you need a disguise... The icing on the cake is that after 6 weeks it started to wear out, thinning out in an area the size of a palm...
Good product, quality/price ratio 🙂
used both in static (astro observations) and dynamic (snowshoe hiking). I would say that it is better in dynamic. In static it is not warm enough.
Used only once so far, for a bivouac trip in the Vosges in the snow. Worn for 2 days/1 night, in a tent at -6, provides extra warmth, no rubbing. To be seen in use if the fabric holds up well.
Good
Thin and warm
They were perfect for Kilimanjaro. I recommend them.
Super. thin and warm
I searched and thought for a long time about what to buy. I even considered paying more money just to be satisfied with the product. I was looking for something comfortable and, most importantly, warm. I have to emphasize that I use them on long mountain walks and I am very, very satisfied. They are very thin, but that does not reduce the comfort or warmth. Now we just have to see how long they will last, how they will behave after washing and prolonged wearing and wear.

How to wash my trek 500 merino tights
We recommend that you machine wash your merino wool T-shirt at 30°C on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent.Dry flat and NEVER tumble dry unless you want it to shrink by one or two sizes! For more information: https://support.decathlon.co.uk/how-to-maintain-a-merino-wool-garment
Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team, tested these tights for 4 days in the southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
