For what I spent it's more than good.

Great sleeping bag!

Very good value for money for this sleeping bag, equivalent in some other brands to sleeping bags at 120€. I have used it often for 2 years and it does not wear out. The only downside is that I used it during a mountain trek during a night at -4°C and I was very cold. Also, it would be great to make a size for people who are 1m60 because because it is too big for me, the air gets in despite the elastic tightening, and a pocket of cold is created in the void at the bottom

I recommend

The sleeping bag proved its worth at temperatures close to 0°C. For a warm synthetic sleeping bag, it doesn't take up that much space.

A perfect sleeping bag for summer bivouacs

This sleeping bag is a pleasant surprise, especially when bivouacking, as it maintains the internal temperature very well and its water-repellent outer fabric prevents nighttime dew from penetrating the bag. A very good sleeping bag if temperatures do not drop below 5 degrees.

After more than a year of use I can say that this sleeping bag declared 0ºC has greatly disappointed my expectations. It does not resist the wind, sleeping in a tent with the wind outside means freezing (August at 1900m). It is useful if the outside temperature does not drop below 12ºC and there is no wind. Be careful of humidity. If you sleep in a humid area you will wake up with a soaked sleeping bag!!!! A piece of advice, spend a little more and buy a quality product.

very good bag

A bit expensive

Used by my wife to sleep in a tent at 8 degrees. Easy to transport because it takes up little space. Quick storage by folding or packing. Very good quality materials. Even if it does the job, I find the price a little high.

Very hot

Perfect for the scout campus. My 8 year old was not cold despite a temperature of 05 degrees at night

6/10

It didn't meet my expectations... I had a 5-degree sleeping bag from another brand and I wanted to change it and have one that would allow me to sleep comfortably in lower temperatures. (I usually bivouac or sleep in a shelter at any time of the year) This one leaves a lot to be desired... it is easy to put it in its bag and the design is very well done, but I think it is worth spending a little more and getting a better one.

What is the temperature rating?

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 - 1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.

What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?

The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard

In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower. We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

Some advice to consider before you get into your bag

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught. Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.

Style

A generous mummy shape that is wide at the shoulders and narrow at the feet to optimise thermal insulation (no heat loss) and make the product more compact, while maintaining some freedom of movement.Width at the shoulders 72 cm, height at the feet 34 cm in size L. 64/30 in S, 68/32 in M, 76/36 in XL.

Weight and dimensions

Size S: 1450 g, user up to 1.59m tall. Bag dimensions: L 42 cm Ø 19.5 cm. Volume 12.5 L.Size M: 1550 g, user from 1.60m to 1.69m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 20.5 cm. Volume 13.9 L.Size L: 1670 g, user from 1.70m to 1.84m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 21.5 cm. Volume 15.2 litres. Size XL: 1790 g, user from 1.85m to 2m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 22.5 cm. Volume 16,7 L. Volume & dimensions may vary according to the compression applied to the product.

Functions

Ergonomic hood with drawcord.Double collar for protection from the cold.A baffle along the zips prevents heat loss.Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation. The top of the sleeping bag can be opened with the two side zips.

Want to know more about the wadding?

We use 2 layers of overlapping wadding: - One of 115 g/sqm, 100% polyester,- and one of 150 g/sqm, 100% polyester. The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibres that make it highly compressible and highly durable.Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It retains its warmth even when wet.

Compatibility

Can be twinned with all the Forclaz MT500 sleeping bag models. Can be twinned with the older models in the 2017 InchUltralight Inch and 2018 InchLight Inch ranges.

Product testing

All our sleeping bags undergo mechanical tests that test the performance and resistance of the sleeping bag to guarantee better sleep and recuperation (thermal resistance, resistance to abrasion, comfort, etc). We also carry out many tests in the field, in real conditions.

Storage instructions

You can easily store your bag by stuffing it loosely into its cover, feet section first. To keep it fluffed up & ensure good thermal performance, remove from its cover, extend, store it in a dry place.
