Good product

Choose it for summer nights

I use the 0 grade of the product in the winter and bought the summer version because it is incredibly comfortable. You can easily turn around inside and it is very good that it has a double zipper.

A light and compact but cold sleeping bag

Very disappointed with this bag. Let's start with the positive: light and compact bag that fits easily in the bag. Regarding the negative: it is very cold. During my first use I was taken by surprise: it must have been 10-12°C and I only had a t-shirt (then I put on my fleece) and a hat, I wore a terrible night. Second outing (a hike of 4 days and 3 nights), I thought that I would be calm, that I had planned something to be warm, I had taken a long-sleeved t-shirt, a hat, a warmer to sleep in. neck, pajama bottoms and a big pair of socks. The nights were all between 10 and 15°C: not a single night did I sleep well, even on the mildest night. The comfort temperature is given at 15°C which insinuates that you can sleep comfortably in underwear and the limit temperature is 10°C, which should mean that you can not be too cold by dressing well . Nay! I would like to exchange it for the same bag but 5°C version!

insufficient

This compaction bag is very light, too...I was cold every time I used it and I understood: the padding was torn in several places and we only had the envelope on our back. 1 wash, 8 nights of use. It is noisy, and you must not move like any mummy bag....synthetic is not pleasant. Its storage and transport are great.

Good basic bag that’s light weight and perfect for bike trips.

Great product Be careful with its sensitivity to cold 0 degrees with clothing I will be neither hot nor cold paired with my partner! She, on the other hand, died of cold with heavy layers + me who brings a lot of warmth, also average at 5 degrees. Value on 5-0 degrees depending on altitude and if we pair

What is the temperature rating?

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 - 1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.

What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?

The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard

In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower. We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

Tips before getting into your bag

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught. Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.

Style

A generous mummy shape that is wide at the shoulders and narrow at the feet to optimise thermal insulation (no heat loss) and make the product more compact, while maintaining some freedom of movement.Shoulder width 70 cm, height at feet 32 cm in size L, 62/28 in S, 66/30 in M, 74/34 in XL
