Fragile textile: trail bag worn out from the first

After just one trail ride with a well-attached (non-floating) quiver, the bag already shows signs of wear on the outer fabric of the large back pocket. Having used the same quiver (Kiprun Decathlon) with the old model for over a year, the bag has not moved. In short, I do not recommend it, because within three or four outings, the fabric will surely be torn/pierced. Maybe it comes from the coating on the back of the quiver... I don't know, but whatever happens, the fabric is very fragile.

very good value for money

very good trail bag, you hardly feel it when you run. However, we regret the smallness of the front pocket for the phone, especially when a flask is in its location (just behind the pocket): I have a zflip 6 (foldable) and it is so tight that its corners are just asking to crack said pocket, and I can't put my keys in it either. Last criticism that is not intrinsically linked to the bag: the decathlon system for drinking from the back pocket and flasks is not the most practical (lack of flow and having to "bite" the pipette quite strongly) compared to what is done at kamelback for example. Apart from these 2 details, the quality/price ratio is unbeatable nb: contrary to some comments, I have not had any problem with the straps loosening, to be seen over time...

Trail bag that does the job

I first bought the XL size model, but I couldn't find the right adjustment, not tight enough at the chest and the bag tended to swing and therefore not very pleasant on a long outing... so I asked for an exchange for the smaller size ML, but I find that there is too big a size gap between the two models, I am between the two, it is almost uncomfortable whatever the model. I have not tried to adjust the tension for the XL model with the orange elastics? is anyone in my case?

zip blocked!!

very happy with the previous model, it is perfect after hundreds of hours of trail running. on the other hand, extremely disappointed by the fact that ALL the zip closures are blocked. (while stored in a dry place...)

Almost flawless!

Really very good bag, the volume is for me perfect for distances greater than 50k up to ultra (unless the organizer gives you a list of mandatory gear as long as your arm :)). If we keep the theoretical rule of 1 liter of storage per 10 km, then this bag is perfect for 100K formats and it is on this type of format that I take it. It is comfortable and well compartmentalized. However, a few small points of improvement prevent me from giving a 5 star rating: 1. The bag closure system at the torso should have a slightly more stretchy material to avoid this feeling that the rib cage is a little "compressed". 2. The pockets on the sides do not hold the bars/gels well enough and I regularly lost supplies during my trails while this does not happen to me with other bags. 3. Compatibility with the quiver is good but I find it difficult after several hours of racing to clip the quiver magnet (difficult to find and not always easy to operate, even more so with fatigue).

Very good products

Good product, ideal for hiking and trail running. Good support while running. Many storage pockets. On sale at the moment so good value for money

Kiprun 10 liter Trail Vest

It doesn't have to blush in front of the competition. A very reasonable price and it does the job. Very very happy with the first model, I can only be satisfied with this one which is a pair with the pole holder quiver.

Top!

Ergonomic and solid, I recommend

Very disappointed

In terms of design, the bag is really great, the system for the flasks is very good. So far, everything was good. The support system is catastrophic, the bag keeps loosening, it's really tiring to have to tighten it constantly. The bag just swings around. The storage pockets on the front are really not practical, it's complicated to get in and grab bars and other things when the flasks are in place. So disappointed, that I just bought another bag from another brand

10l and 11 pockets: for you to separate and carry all your trail running equipment

There are 5 pockets at the front of this 10-litre trail running bag: 2 pockets for 500 ml soft flasks (not included), a patented, waterproof phone pocket, as well as 2 pockets for your gels or cereal bars. In addition, we added 2 side pockets and 4 rear pockets: 1 kangaroo pocket, but also a large compartment with side zip which contains its own zipped pocket, as well as a large pocket designed for the one-litre water bladder (included).

A bag designed to keep you hydrated, but also so you can access and carry your drink easily

If we consider that we drink an average of 500 ml of water per hour of effort when running (and trail running in this case) and that this backpack lets you carry 2 litres of water, you will thus be able to keep running for 4 hours. Handy, right? Therefore, with the one-litre back pocket (which we will discuss in a minute) and the two front pockets for holding 500 ml flasks, you can run stress-free between refuelling stops!

Focus on the water bladder

This trail running backpack, with a 10-litre capacity, has a specific holder for a one-litre water bladder on the back. Included in the sale price and attachable with a hook, it can be used at temperatures between -20 and +40°C, solely for water (avoid milk or alcohol and best not pop it in the microwave). You can also cut the tube to the required length and attach the tip to the magnet on the front of the bag, or with the 2 elasticated strips on each side.

Choose how to attach and carry your poles

Since poles are a key bit of kit for many trail runners, our 10 L trail running backpack comes with a built-in quiver attachment system (quiver sold separately). And for fans of the traditional method, we have added two elastic adjustment strips at the front to attach your trail poles vertically. Thanks to these two ingenious systems, carry and store your poles as you like... and according to the slope!

Lightweight, fit and technical quality

Weighing just 240 g empty, your backpack is a real featherweight! And to ensure it is the right size and fit for you, it comes in 3 sizes: XS/S, M/L, XL.In addition, thanks to the 3 height-adjustable straps, you can adjust and stabilise this gilet to your body shape for greater comfort during ultra-endurance events. Lastly, our design incorporates technical and stretchy components so the bag will stay close to your body but can still expand where necessary!

2 patented technologies to optimise the performance of this backpack... and your own!

This backpack is the perfect illustration of the spirit of trail running: simple pleasure and pushing your boundaries. The waterproof smartphone pocket is lined and can easily hold your phone even with a flask below it.Two elastics strips for you to fix, stabilise and carry your flasks securely. Lastly, we developed an innovative rear kangaroo pocket, with an angled opening so you can easily access your windproof jacket, without needing to perform the usual contortions!

A backpack with an eye for detail

You will find a barcode in the rear zipped pocket: scan it to find a wealth of information all about the backpack. The lacing on the back of this men's and women's gilet is a little design touch introduced by our garment designer. We love it (both the design and the designer, of course). In addition, the front right pocket holds a 110 db whistle, an essential item for many outdoor races, especially in the mountains.

Care instructions

As regards the maintenance of your trail running bag, we recommend hand-washing, but also removing the magnet (used to attach the tip of your drinking tube to the 1-litre water bladder) before cleaning it. After washing, dry your bag and store it in a dry place. As regards the water bladder, ensure you do not leave water in the bladder for more than 24 hours, and rinse it with fresh water after use and let it dry before storing it away.

Product testing

This backpack has been tested by some members of the Evadict Women Team and by the trail runners who designed it jointly with us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their help and precious advice: their feedback helped us capitalise on their advice and, consequently, create the perfect version of this new item, which we are particularly proud of.

Storage instructions

We recommend keeping your 10-liter trail running backpack inside... We know you love the outdoors, but there is nothing like the warmth and comfort of your home!
