It didn't work for me

It cannot be installed on all handlebars, it is worth trying before buying. The brake and gear cables may also be in the way. I think the drybag can be attached to the handlebars without it. It is difficult and expensive.

See reviews on bag…

See related waterproof bag review for context. This is a very good product that requires a little practice to ensure good stability and handling of the bag. After a few days, it is very practical at the bivouac to quickly load and unload the evening's belongings.

Bikepacking in Triban RC 520

Mounted on my gravel Triban RC 520 and equipped for bikepacking, just the right size for my MT 900 ultra light tunnel 4 people. Well designed, robust, perfect strap system, additional loops for perfect bags and accessories. And an irresistible adventurer look.

Good value for money

I bought the entire RIVERSIDE BIKEPACKING ADVT 900 kit, in particular to go on a 1300 km bike trip this summer. I am completely satisfied overall and the products have not suffered from the treatment they received (a good part of the route was on gravel and forest paths). Opening and closing the harness with the 3 straps is not always easy and I find it a bit of a shame that there is not a removable foam part to move the harness a few cm away from the frame for touring bikes, most of which have cables that pass through the front of the handlebars. I had to "tinker" with a system myself so that my cables remain well arranged at the back of the harness.

Handlebar harness

I bought this for a flat bar handlebar touring bike. Having researched into a lot of these types of harness, this one was the best price albeit a little expensive for what it is. The harness fixed to the handlebars ok but was a little fiddly with all the brake and gear cables getting in the way... managed it in the end, but it's not something I’d relish taking on and off too often. If I could improve this item, I would make more allowance for all the wires etc. when fitted my harness was a little lower on the front than I would like and was slightly rubbing against my fixed dynamo light. Once on, the harness was excellent. I love the design of the front straps, which really hold my dry bag. Overall, I was very impressed with this harness.

Riverside Saddlebag Harness + Handlebar Bag

I just used the saddlebag harness + handlebar bag for a 7-day mountain bike ride on varied terrain: tarmac, track, and sometimes stony singles with small steps. I placed a hard foam shim between the stem and the harness to give the cables some play and protect the paint on my almost new carbon mountain bike. The bag was filled with clothes and other products for a total weight of 4.5kg (I had a small backpack for the extra stuff) I was very satisfied with these products: ease of assembly and disassembly of the bag mornings and evenings, volume of the bag, waterproofness of the bag despite riding 1 full day in the rain, solidity ...

Just fine

Used during my bikepacking trip through Scotland. Very solid, simple and good quality. One remark: make sure you protect your frame well with protective tape because the paintwork will be damaged by sanding.

Support a little complicated…

Support a little complicated to install on a mountain bike (with the passage of brake hoses and cables). More suitable for gravel. During a slightly rougher passage the support can touch the front wheel with the travel of the fork.

perfect for bikepacking

it fits perfectly with a dedicated bag, it doesn't really fit MTB bikes because it crushes the cables from the levers, but it fits gravel perfectly

Bike painting to be redone!

I used this saddlebag harness on my bike. This product has significantly damaged the bike and will require repairs. I would only recommend this on bikes that you don't mind getting damaged.

Very practical

Very interesting bag because I was able to put the Forclaz MT500 tent, the inflatable mattress and the sleeping bag attached to it without any problems. Very good stability and easy to install objects.

Not great

Disappointed... not designed for a gavel in external cable passage. tested for a week on a Gravel 520, I had to tinker with a system so that it wouldn't rub on the road

missing spare parts

Hello, super stable, solid, easy but the backpack style buckles are not compatible with those sold in the backpack section. So no spare parts according to the seller in the cycle section. Given the amount of support, it would be good to have spare parts. Thank you
