Shimano Deore drive chain compatible attachments 👍🏻 Hello. I am satisfied with this item, for the set of two KMC quick releases for just a few euros (so the price is not cheap either, which is logical, but it is not necessarily excessively high contrary to some comments that point it out?) These people forget to say that it quickly fixes things on site. In addition, we leave with the quick releases to do the assembly the same day or evening at home in our garage or yard... it avoids waiting for a package to arrive and paying additional shipping costs (at another retailer or bike shop.) So a good point Decathlon! for the troubleshooting and the fact of leaving with the product directly at home. Small surprise when we asked the salesperson for information on the shelf: he opened the box and we realized that they are KMC brand quick release links. So well above what I thought it was at the start, that is to say a product manufactured by Decathlon or B'Twin! Another good point for Decathlon: people here forget to point it out, find it too expensive, but we still have access to a KMC brand product! KMC which as a reminder is a major brand manufacturing chains and other transmission elements, just like Shimano or SRAM are. So KMC, two quick releases for €8 with the fact of being able to have access to the product immediately in the store and leave with it, I say that is very honest. Let it be said! And obviously I was able to repair my chain this afternoon thanks to these quick releases... having applied advice from a technician in the workshop: use a rizlan connected from one end of the chain to the other, which allowed me to be able to work with both hands freely. Yes, by inserting the quick release link to connect my chain, I then broke the rislan (because it is no longer useful once the quick release is engaged). The link being correctly positioned and inserted into the links of the chain, I just had to apply the necessary force on the pedal (bike on the ground) while having engaged the brake lever of the rear wheel: which correctly fitted and positioned the quick release in the 2 links. My bike is finally ready to take to the road safely. Everything works on all the sprockets of the cassette. (don't worry: if you didn't understand my method that worked, just watch the video offered by Decathlon "How to install and replace a bicycle chain") (As a reminder, if like me you have completely degreased and cleaned your transmission, namely chain + cassette + chainring as well as the derailleur pulleys, I recommend that you put enough oil and lubricant on the chain because all the elements of the transmission must be sufficiently lubricated, in order to avoid any advanced wear.
