When I went hiking, everyone had cushions that were tied to their waists, but they were useless to me, so I found this. Highly recommended.

Small and practical to carry.
it was with me in the mountains, and on excavations. A very useful thing, I don't know how I functioned without it. It doesn't wear out like cheap market foams (and it doesn't cost much either), it takes up little space, it's comfortable to sit or kneel on.
This is the second time I bought this seat as a gift for a friend. I have an identical one, I use it often and I am very happy with it. It is light, protects from wet and cold ground and does not soak itself. I recommend it.
5 stars all around - comfy for its weight (i.e. almost nothing), and kept by butt dry on wet grass. I used this in Singapore, so the insulation was a bit warmer than what was comfortable, but I can see this being really comfortable and cosy up on a mountain or in temperate climates.
