Dropped from less than 40 cm, the lamp's frame mount broke. I assume it's material fatigue, as the lamp has to be disassembled for charging. Charged less than 20 times in total. Disassembling for charging is a design flaw, as it takes up a lot of time with cold fingers and in the hut. No replacement part provided.

2 Flashlight purchased. Good equipment, with high durability and easy to charge and operate.

I haven't had the chance to test the battery yet. It is a very useful model, it has separate modes for near and far, and it has both a battery and a battery cartridge.

I used it for both cycling and fishing. It is quite sufficient for both. It is a great advantage to use it with an extra battery.

Happy with the light that makes

Recently, my old, trusty Tikka XP from “Precla” fell apart. Although the electronics showed no signs of fatigue, all the plastics crumbled with age. The successor had set the bar high. I can’t stand the sign of today’s times – disposable batteries, but the spreading dominance of built-in batteries instead of replaceable batteries/accumulators seems to me to be a departure from the essence of outdoor – I curse Decathlon for removing the excellent BL40 battery lamp from its offer. Although I usually analyze purchases for a long time (as usual, I want to buy once and do it well), in this case the decision was made exceptionally quickly – no wonder, because the headlamp doesn’t have many competitors on the market. The possibility of replacing individual sensitive elements, the addition of a battery pack that is so important to me, and a bag with a diffuser function that saves a few grams and space on “light” trips allowed me to make a decision quickly. The inspection and initial test are not disappointing – the light is really sufficient, the operation of the “up-down” modes instead of having to go through entire cycles when pressing the button one too many times by mistake makes the operation much easier and more user-friendly, and the resource of two different power sources may turn out to be the creme de la creme of the light. Minus for the short rubber – with a 60+ head, it will be rather difficult to put it on comfortably on a cap. The light diffusion in the attached bag is (to put it mildly) symbolic – personally, I would rather pay less for this light and buy the well-known Pretzel diffuser. Nevertheless, I look at the whole thing as an excellent quality/price ratio and, remaining in the hope that quality will mean durability and spare parts will not disappear from the offer, I see no reason to deduct points.

The red light is very good for moving around without disturbing your friends and the progressive brightness is great, in full mode you can see like in broad daylight
