My partner and I used this tent for two download festivals, One during a heatwave and one during heavy rain, the fresh/black material kept us cool and dry during both of them.
It is so easy to set up, which is exactly what you want after a long journey. I have high confidence in the tents strength and ability to withstand high winds, as well as keeping me dry. I really like the adjustable flaps/vents in the sides and the size of the vestibule is also good. Can't imagine going back to an old-style tent now.
Takes literally 5 seconds to put up and about a minute to take down (worth practicing a few times in the garden). Sleeps 3 comfortably but there isn't much room left for anything else (the porch is handy tho). Really good blackout. Also an ideal tent if you want to camp in the garden with the kids as it's a perfect size and super quick to put up.
So quick and easy to erect, and not too tricky to get down once you know how. Fab guys in York store showed me exactly how to do it. Very spacious inside and a few very useful features
I love how this tent springs up in seconds and just needs the pegs to hold it securely. I need a smallish tent as I travel to charity events in a sports car and camp for a weekend, so space for kit is limited. It's very spacious inside although I use this as a 1 man tent. Would highly recommend. Withstood 50mph gusts and torrential rain in August. Very impressive. Can be slightly tricky to fold away initially but fine once you get the hang of it.
This tent is, as promised, easy to pitch and lovely to sleep in - the blackout isn't complete but that's fine. Getting it back in the bag at the end is a complete nightmare! It was fine on the practise run in the garden but having been pitched for a few days it's a different matter! I watched the video, step by step, but it doesn't fold neatly and ends up much too big. Not a big enough problem to return it, but really disappointing as it ruins the end of every trip and I will think twice before buying anything else from this range.
Bought for Leeds fest and it stood up to the windy weather with ease. Sturdy, spacious and the blackout lining is incredible. Would highly recommended for the price
Lots of room for me and the dog
Easy and quick to pitch, and pack away with the colour clips and pull cord. Black put bedroom with air fresh system allows you to lie in on the hottest of mornings. Space fir a double airbed and bags, or 3 single airbeds. I use mine regularly whilst working at festivals, and now most of my colleagues use them too.
I've had this tent for a few years and used it all over England and Scotland. Goes up in seconds and I have it pegged out and ready in well under 5 minutes these days. Putting it down is easy too once you know how, and it has several clips and a pull string to make it even easier. The blackout is incredible, I have to open the side flap to see if it's morning or not. It has two side window flaps which can be fully open or mesh for ventilation. Great for draining tea dregs out of the side if you fancy a cup in the night you don't want to get completely out of the tent to drain it. And the flaps don't let any rain in. The porch is small but plenty of room for boots and gear for a few people. There's a decent pocket on either side and a lantern hook. It stands up really well to bad weather, on a recent trip with really bad weather out of 5 tents in the group, only this one stayed dry inside. It's deceptively roomy, although I did push it too far once with 4 of us and a dog. I don't recommend that. But 2 or 3 people and gear, no problem. Basically this tent has never let me down. My only gripe is that I can't take it backpacking because being a pop up tent it folds into a big flat disc bag. Hard recommend.
Great lightweight tent , fresh and black tech is brilliant
We have toured Scotland, Wales and the Yorkshire Dales with this tent. It has withstood a multitude of British weather including 35mph winds and overnight torrential rain. It is incredibly easy to pitch and take down once you get the hang of it - again have done this in both pouring rain and wild winds. The downsides to this tent are its low ceiling height, awkward packing shape and small porch - though this is the price to pay for its convenience.
We have been in Oman for a week and bought this tent for camping here. The first time we tried to set it up the front part..the entrance perimeter just would not lie flat..we tried again and again but it would not lay flat on the ground. How very dissapointing
Fantastic 'pop up' tent. It's worth having a practice run at home before using it as there is definitely a knack to putting it up and down but it's unbelievably easy once you've done it! Only slight negative is that once packed away, although it is thin, the actual diameter of the tent is very large and can be difficult/awkward to fit in your car.
I used it just for me so loads of room! I love it. V good for two I guess and ok for three I imagine

Pitching/folding
Quick to pitch. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy to fold thanks to the Easy guiding system.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 23.6Inch maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4Inch height in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom to enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. Fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2 oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind-resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30 mph near the ground (Force 6).
