Quechua 10L Shower Review The Quechua 10L shower is a product that met my expectations in every aspect. I particularly appreciate its capacity and the innovative solution taken from garden sprayers - manual pumping to create pressure. This is a practical and convenient solution that makes the shower extremely functional. In the fall, I mainly use it to wash my mountain bike before mounting it on the rack. It works great in this role - just a few moments are enough to thoroughly clean the bike. I bought the product on sale for about PLN 170 and I think it was a great purchase. I plan to test its camping use next season, but I am already sure that I will not be disappointed. The quality of the shower is perfect - solid materials, careful finishing and an additional set of seals for connections prove the high standard of the product. Additionally, the possibility of pouring warm water or heating it in the sun is a big advantage that increases its versatility. In my opinion, this is the best universal shower on the market. I recommend it for both tourist purposes and more everyday use – as in my case. It is a reliable and functional gadget that is definitely worth having on hand. I will also add the aspect of the possibility of emergency use at home in the event of a water shortage, etc.

Great shower for bivouacking in nature; to be used with biodegradable cosmetics of course. Be careful if you put it in the trunk of your car the tap opens easily.

A click stop on the closed position of the shower head cursor would really be a PLUS, and a clip to hold the tap of this shower head on the canister, too, because the canister tasted for several hours, and flooded the floor of my camper van…! Because the shower head was poorly blocked and in the low position…
Excellent product, we used it continuously for 7 months, it was a great help. Easy to use and practical structure. It gives a lot of comfort for camping. I had to disinfect it once because the pipe started to turn green, and descale the shower head with vinegar 2-3 times. There were no failures.
An affordable shower with a reasonable flow rate that will last for several days.
Very good product. Be careful not to lose the seal though.
I used this portable shower about ten times last summer to rinse myself and my dog after swimming in the sea and lake. You can use it anywhere and in a few moments it is ready for use. It can hold a good amount of water and is easy to transport. Let's hope it lasts over time. I recommend it.

Time and conditions for heating water
Heating time depends on several factors: the initial water temperature, outdoor temperature, ground type (concrete, grass, etc.), wind, sun, etc. To speed up heating, increase the surface area exposed to the sun by laying down the non-inflated shower. It’s also possible to add hot water directly but be careful as the temperature shouldn’t go over 50°C as you risk damaging the product components and putting yourself in danger.
Recommendations for use
To encourage increased temperature, put the shower in the sun between :12:00 and 18:00. We advise against putting it behind a car windscreen; our tests show that the water could go beyond 70°C. Be aware that the temperature drops as soon as the sun fades. When you put the pressure on, a ringing noise from the valve will signal maximum pressure: pump again when the pressure drops in use.
Design team tests - standing shower
Here are our temperature readings after a heating test on the standing shower exposed to the sun. The test took place one mid-June afternoon in the south of France.The shower was standing, pressurised and filled with water to its maximum level (10 L).Outside temperature of 25°C, barely any wind, 750 W/M² solar power. Initial water temperature:22°C. In 3 hours, the water went from 22°C to 30°CIn 5 hours, the water went from 22°C to 35°CIn 6 hours 48 minutes, the water went from 22°C to 38°C.
Design team tests - shower lay flat
You can improve heating time by increasing the area exposed to the sun: lie the shower horizontally on a table or on the ground. Performance will be improved under the same test conditions in standing position.
Water temperature gauge
We have added a water temperature gauge. This start when the water is at 30°C and goes up to 40°C. In all cases, it is recommended to let the water run a little before taking your shower to ensure that the water is not too hot.
