Purchased in anticipation of the TMB, very comfortable and very warm. Easy to put in the pouch sold with it.
I loved the jacket. It held up really well in -5 degrees C, even when worn with just a fleece shirt underneath. The hat keeps the wind out well, and the length protects the body and even most of the hands well (it's not too short, which always bothers me with other jackets). It's also great value for money. Jackets like this, from other brands, cost twice as much and don't always fit as well.

Good product that I use very often, warm and quite windproof.
In contrast to its little brother MT100 with a hood, no wind gets through. It is definitely suitable for hikes below -5 ⁰C. Another positive is that you can adjust the hood at the back. My MT100 hood only stays on my head with a buff and doesn't close at the chin - this one is great. Please equip an MT100 in the same way.

Lightweight and warm. The inside pockets and the one on the chest are very roomy!
I have a few down jackets from Decathlon because they are cheap and good. This particular model is a bit narrow in the back
Compactness is the biggest advantage, plus pockets lined with fleece. It's a pity that the inside of the hood is not also fleece, because with the hat on the head it rustles quite loudly. Wide size range ensures the possibility of adjusting according to preferences.
It looks stylish and is warm, well thought out large pockets and a compression sack. Solid, at first I was afraid of it, it has already been through a lot and without damage. Unfortunately, the hydrophobicity does not work very well, you cannot see the characteristic drops, everything is absorbed immediately. It gets dirty quickly, sweat, fats, liquids leave a permanent dark stain. At a price below 400 it is a good buy!

This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of 14°F (-10°C) during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3 mph wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. Its comfort temperature is 0°C in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 90% down and 10% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 800 CUIN (international standard) or over.

How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. But the less you wash it, the more it will retain its thermal insulation and water repellency.Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it in the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating (PFC-free) its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
A snag? how to repair your fleece
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. We have repair patches that you can purchase!
