Product Customer Reviews
Well-cut, warm down jacket. The loose-fitting pocket is less practical than being able to turn a pocket inside out. Water-repellent, it's still a down jacket that's not suitable for rain.
The design fits very well. It's comfortable and takes up little space in a backpack. It's not too hot. I'd like a little more warmth.
The jacket met expectations. Very good quality.
it's warm
Close-fitting, cozy, comfortable, and pleasantly warm down jacket. Perfect for clear weather, a waterproof overlayer is absolutely necessary if there is a risk of precipitation. Watch out for the slightest snag 😔 and stick a special down jacket patch on it, otherwise it's ruined, too bad. Delicate drying to re-inflate the feathers 😔. But it's very comfortable to wear and good warmth for a negligible weight
simple but nice design, comfortable, hood that covers the whole head well. perfect when it rains or is cold. but there is a but: I had the misfortune to put it in the washing machine on March 19 as recommended by Decathlon and then all the material inside was no longer there!!! It was like pilling under the fingers and I end up with a flat jacket in places since there is no more down and puffy in other places.... if we can no longer wash our things without seeing them come out in bad condition, what is the point of paying the price for a product that is supposedly good quality? you might as well buy cheap disposable on the internet in this case? in short, it was perfect until I washed it in cold water
Used in Patagonia against the cold (from minus 1 to 6 degrees), against Antarctic wind, snow storms, in short against everything, protecting me very well, considering that other technical down jackets cost three times as much.
What a great jacket! Very warm, extra light, and unisex. I bought it for my trip to Peru, but I'll wear it whenever the temperature drops.
jacket well-fitted even to a short woman (157 cm) i.e. my wife, warm and light. For everyday use and in the mountains. Often used and nothing happens to the outer material. My wife, despite skepticism at the beginning, is very pleased.
Not sufficiently waterproof. Gets soaked in 5 minutes in moderate rain.
I'm not particularly sensitive to the cold but I was looking for a jacket that combined lightness and warmth and this jacket is more suitable for a cool autumn than winter. I wouldn't buy it again
The great in terms of softness, warmth and compactness. light and very modern. multiple pockets and super fitting. I dreamed of it for 2 years and perfection!
Great, warm and light as a feather. Very good choice.
Warm down jacket used in Norway in November. Feminine fitted cut. Water repellent. Original color that varies depending on the light (brown, taupe, purple, hard to say)
Women's down jacket, ideal for winter. Compact, flexible and very warm to face negative temperatures. Very good product

How warm is this padded jacket?
This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of -10°C during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 5 km/h wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. Its comfort temperature is 0°C in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 90% down and 10% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 800 CUIN (international standard) or over.

How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°C, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it in the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating (PFC-free) its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
How to repair your fleece?
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
Product testing
