Questions & Answers

Look for product information, frequently asked questions, opinions...

Question:

How’s it compared to “shake dry “ from Gorewear? Quality of zipper? Are the wrist bands Velcro? Does it have pockets in back? Will it fit in a jersey pocket? Thanks

Answer:

It is a lightweigh, wind and water resisitant garment. Very good quality, no velocro on the wrist. 1 pocket in the back, and will easily fit in a jersey pocket.

Good product, breathability not the best, but acceptable. Does not fold as it should. Take a size up. Good value for money.

So disappointed!

Yet I am used to your product, this one is below everything. And this is all the more so since the old model was great and lasted for years. Let me explain: Used for the first time today (so new product) I went under a light downpour and I was instantly soaked :-o So windbreaker maybe but certainly not rainproof and even less at this price!

Bought for cycling and running. A little expensive but practical because it is light and folds small.

Unbeatable quality-price ratio

Improved fit compared to previous versions, same quality and excellent value for money. A must-have.

Excellent value for money

Excellent waterproofing, perhaps breathability could be improved.

very good windbreaker

ideal for mid-season, perfect windbreaker, lacks a little breathability but perfect for my use. Light and practical, slips into the jersey pocket, great. didn't have the opportunity to test it in the rain

Additional Product Information

Composition

Membrane: 100.0% Polyurethane ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyamide

Product waterproofing

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower). Our Ultralight jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.

Breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable materialThe RET of our Ultralight showerproof jacket is 6.

Product tests

Our team of product designers is based at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France). All year round, we conceive and develop new products that are easy to use, look great, and have the technical features needed for your cycling experiences. They are then mercilessly put to the test by users in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting our products to real-world conditions, such as the ones you will experience on your bike, can we continuously improve them.

Care tips

Hand wash only. Turn the article inside out. Use a minimal amount of laundry detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
