I've been used to the old model for several years, but this one is a disaster. Throughout my last hike, I felt like the two layers of fabric, which were much too smooth, made me slip in my shoes. Exhausting and almost dangerous. In addition, the material doesn't wick away perspiration, even though it was only 7 degrees, my feet were soaked at the end of the hike.
After having horrible blisters with other socks, with these I was finally able to go for 25km walks without getting blisters.
The insulating layers (since the product is doubled) can tend to move noticeably on top of each other, otherwise, nothing to say about the quality.
They adapt very well to the foot

At my workplace, I tend to exceed 10,000 steps per day. I only tried them for one day to realize the significant difference compared to my previous socks, which were already comfortable but not at this level. They are certainly a little expensive, but I feel so much better that I will buy others.

I'm disappointed that the toe corners of the socks are too big and cause creases (thus blisters). And the lining tore at the heel on the second use. I don't recommend them.
It really keeps you warm. I enjoy using it in winter mountain activities. The only downside is that it is very tight. There is really a problem with the thickness of these Decathlon socks. Especially when used in the mountains, since it is tight, both the warmth retention feature decreases dramatically and you may face the risk of frostbite. If your feet are not 36 or 37, it would be beneficial to choose a larger size.
Fresh and dry foot.
A sock that keeps its promises. I had doubts before using it, but after 56 km in 11.5 hours of walking, not a blister in sight, thank you. I highly recommend this product.
This is the second time I've bought them, very comfortable for long distances, worth paying for them.

Choosing the height of your socks
We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). We use elastane in all our socks so they adapt to feet and remain in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking
