Hi! How do I remove stays of this backpack?

Question:

Is the fit - the suspension - adjustable? I'm 6-2

Answer:

We're happy to inform you that the torso length of the backpack is indeed adjustable to accommodate different body sizes, including yours at 6'2". To ensure a comfortable fit, it's essential to measure your torso length accurately. This measurement is the distance between your 7th vertebra (the prominent bone at the base of your neck) and your ilium (the top of your hip bones). Our backpack's adjustable torso length ranges from a minimum of 39 cm (15 inches) to a maximum of 51 cm (20 inches). Additionally, the waistband of the backpack is also adjustable to provide a snug fit around your waist. The waistband adjustment ranges from a minimum of 79 cm (31 inches) to a maximum of 136 cm (54 inches). Furthermore, the back panel of the backpack is adjustable with a release strap, making it easy and quick to customize the fit according to your preferences and body size. For the most comfortable and personalized fit, we recommend measuring your torso length and waist size using the provided guidelines before making your selection.

Very good backpack, good capacity and durable. Not the most comfortable for long journeys but nevertheless pleasant.

Super lightweight hiking bag

I have/had several backpacks in this category, unfortunately not all within reach, so I had to buy one, which unfortunately could not make me forget the previous one. It is very light and that is great, the pockets can also absorb a lot of things on both sides and at the bottom, but I miss, for example, that it can be opened completely, and the "rain cover" is not the usual collapsible, thicker material version of other Decathlon products, which would have been more practical when traveling by plane. Otherwise, there are no problems with it.

Excellent first hiking bag

First time I invest in a hiking backpack, the compartments are super practical, pleasant ergonomics as well as its solidity. I recommend.

It could have been good BUT...

Good bag overall with lots of storage pockets BUT unfortunately this bag causes me unbearable pain in my hips. This is caused by the rigid frame that presses on my hips. I tried to wear it higher or lower, to tighten the waist strap more or less but no, nothing worked. So, bag returned to the store. The advisor in the hiking department saw with me if we could change something without result. Too bad!

Perfect

Backpack

A fantastic backpack! It was perfect for a few days trip to the mountains. I didn't feel like I had anything on my back at all. In addition, there is a great pocket for a large bottle of water. With one movement you can take out and put in a 1.5l bottle. A great backpack.

Comfort and extra compartments and features worth the extra money

Backpack

For this price, I am personally very satisfied.

Very convenient hiking bag

Too heavy for a modern backpack. Don’t want to offend anyone, but my run-of-the-mill Gregory weighs 1.2kg and costed me 30% less. All those pockets, zippers, tie-ups, etc. cost weight. So does the air frame, and although this might be appealing to some, it cuts down the versatility by quite a bit. If you want to use the backpack for travel, it’ll be difficult to fit in the overhead compartment and will severely limit the weight of the stuff you carry. Again, no offence, it seems like a nice product, well done and will no doubt be useful for many people, but not for me.

excellent bag

stunning bag for the price, quality and features are unmatched against a lot of other brands at much higher prices, used for wild camping, heavier than some but the back system is really great, super comfortable

The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of just a few %.

Weight

3.7 lbs. All inclusive.Weight of the removable rain cover 3.5 oz.

Air design

As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range has a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric (net fabric) that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that’s easy and quick to use.

Recommended carry weight

According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 33 lbs. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.

How to pack a backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.

How to use the multi-use straps?

The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminum buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps let you hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them inside) in the hidden pocket intended for this or detached and used elsewhere with the lark's head knot buckle.
