I wore these on the beach for hiking, but also in the forest in the snow or at work. My feet were never cold or sweaty. They are very sturdy and you can walk very well in them. The only problem is that the laces often come undone. So you always have to tie a double knot otherwise they will come undone again after a few hours.

Good price, comfortable boot with good grip and currently waterproof.

Used this shoe for motorcycle riding. Traction and grip are great especially during raining. With good foot support inside do not even feel fatigue. Overall it is a excellent shoe. Hope to last long.

I come from the previous series that I used in Italy, Iceland, Ireland, the Moab desert and New Zealand until flattening.....but these are a cut above!

It's a shame I didn't discover them before, excellent product and very good value for money

I needed new high hiking boots or winter boots in general and looked at several models in the local Decathlon store. The first challenge: size 47 is only available for very few models. For example, the boots I bought 4 years ago at Decathlon in size 47 were reissued, slightly changed, 30% added to the price and only included in the range up to size 46. This was a nuisance for me. So I came across this model, which I initially liked for its inconspicuous appearance. A thumbs up for the simple design. Unfortunately, the brown shoe was only available up to size 46, so I had to try the grey one if at all. A bit of a mood dampener. Even on the indoor test track it became clear that the rubber soles literally stick to difficult surfaces like spider silk. I could conquer any terrain like a mountain goat in these. A second thumbs up for that. I usually wear wide to extra wide boots and I can manage with these boots just as well. Fantastic, thumbs up. The price is absolutely unbeatable, everything else is twice or three times as expensive. Thumbs up. There is one minus point for the lacing, however. The upper hook eyelets are actually intended to allow you to put the boots on and take them off quickly. But Decathlon thought, why not make the hook eyelets so small and fiddly that you need both hands to thread the laces (which would still be normal), but also both hands if you want to undo the laces! When hooking them in, I often miss the very small opening right in the bend. And I'm usually pretty dexterous with my hands. As soon as I open the normal loop and knot, the laces stay firmly clamped in the hook eyelets instead of popping open. I have to unhook them, which is a laborious process, and I have to kneel down to do it. Accordingly, the tension in the binding is not distributed when walking, depending on the load on the shoe at the time. If the tension is not right, you notice it as pain in the metatarsal. I've never experienced that in my life. In short, I will soon be filing the hook eyelets with a file, which should solve the problem. God knows why Decathlon deliberately made the hook eyelets too small. After that, I expect to have many years of enjoyment with these otherwise first-class boots.

Really great, the item fulfills its mission well. Warmth, waterproof, comfort and well-protected feet. In addition, the color is really nice.

It is ideal for those who want their boots to be as light and comfortable as sneakers. However, the laces are a bit thicker than the upper connections and if they are not tied tightly, they come undone very often.
