Cheap, comfortable, but not waterproof at all! After 30 minutes of steady light rain, water soaks through this raincoat. I definitely don't recommend it. It's better to pay more and buy a better quality raincoat to stay dry.

We tested it in our “Decathlon shower” to simulate real-world conditions—it held up to .25 inches of rain in just one hour. Whether you're hiking or out on the town, it offers reliable protection when the weather turns fast.
What are schmerbers?
Waterproofing is measured in Schmerbers—the higher the rating, the better the protection. This jacket clocks in at 5,000 Schmerbers, meaning it can withstand the pressure of a 5-meter (16.4 ft) column of water. In real-world terms, it keeps you dry through rainfall of up to 60 liters per square meter per hour—for a full hour.
How can i maintain the waterproofing?
2 Easy Ways to Restore Water Repellency:– Tumble dry on a synthetic cycle for 15 minutes– Use a hairdryer: 2 passes from about 8 inches awayRepeat after every 3 washes (be sure to rinse thoroughly) or after 10 rainy hikes
