How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

warm and waterproof
I used this product both in trekking and in everyday life. I also did some snowshoeing at -10, it was great.
Hello, I recently bought a windproof, waterproof and warm blue vest at Decathlon...everyone is looking at me, the color "blue" is just beautiful, just go to Decathlon, the price was very reasonable and they have something for everyone. Expensive...no way...there are those who charge more for a vest, so go and have a look at Decathlon first, you are guaranteed to come out with a beautiful vest! Greetings from the Flemish Ardennes! Nice jacket, closes well, warm and waterproof, easy to use, both in summer and winter. Many pockets and especially the chest pockets are very practical. Also a nice bright blue color

I haven't been able to test the waterproofness of this jacket yet, but it allowed me to face the cold that a violent Mistral can bring. It is clearly a quality jacket, pleasant to wear.
A comfortable and versatile jacket.
I like this jacket that I bought for a trip to Mexico to manage the departure from Paris and the return as well as the possible storms. I had not taken the lining but back in Normandy I put it back on 😀😂

The perfect jacket for travel and outdoor adventures or for everyday use. The removable lining allows you to use it also in spring or autumn, when it provides excellent protection from rain and wind. The padded inner jacket is soft enough to be worn separately. Basically, you get a jacket for all weather conditions, which saves space when traveling.
The product is very nice, it meets your needs for both a raincoat and a thin coat. It would be more useful if the hood were foldable or detachable.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.

This jacket was first tested in the laboratory, on a whole set of factors (warmth, waterproofing, durability).
