Very good pants, shorts.
It's a pity that there is no version in one color. Overall, the pants are great for trekking. A version with legs that can be zipped off below the knees + ventilation on the thighs would be useful.
comfortable, resistant, efficient
Very happy with my purchase
Lightweight, breathable, stretchy, comfortable and they also become shorts. The zip did not give me the impression of being weak, they held up to various excursions. Recommended.
Very light, quick drying
A versatile and comfortable pair of pants at an affordable price,
So far I have been a fan of cotton and I took such trousers on mountain trips, convinced that another material would be poorly breathable. I was very wrong. The trousers I bought worked out great, detachable legs are something that really gives great comfort when we start the trip early in the morning and we plan to spend the whole day in the field, during which the temperature can fluctuate by even a dozen or so degrees. The quality of workmanship, stretchability, breathability made my trips much more enjoyable. A product worth recommending.
The trousers have proven themselves on several routes and are ideal for me. A big plus is that they can be quickly converted into shorts. I tested them in the summer, and in the fall with thermal underwear they really work. For me, as an occasional hiker, they are ideal.

These trousers have been designed with 3 different components:- a durable fabric (198 g/m2) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy, enabling great freedom of movement;- a light and breathable fabric (145 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers;- a very stretchy insert in the crotch area (15% elastane).

The MT500 2-in-1 trekking trousers are equipped with: - 2 zipped hand pockets;- 2 zipped thigh pockets (and 1 mesh pocket inside the right pocket);- 1 zipped back pocket.The trousers are elasticated at the bottom, so you can adjust them to fit perfectly over your shoes.The trousers are sold with a belt.
How water repellent is the component in the reinforcement zones of the mt500 2-in-1 trousers?
These trousers have water-repellent inserts (front of ankle, buttocks) that let the water slide off the fabric's surface. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref. 8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
