Rear fit not to my taste
Great experience
I bought these pants last year in a size 48 and they are very, very tight. So I'm going to buy them a size bigger this year and they're big on me, so I have to buy size 48 again! But you already fit me. I am convinced that they made a mistake in Decathlon and last year's ones are one size smaller, despite the information on the tag.
usually wear size 30. for this product i ordered 32, still too small.

At the top
I use it for hiking on trails and as soon as there is snow for snowshoeing. It is very comfortable and keeps you warm. I recommend it

I bought these pants only for the winter season, I didn't use them very often. Today I went for a walk for about 1 hour in a light rain. The pants got soaked with water in the upper part of the knee, the water reaching the skin. Decathlon was my favorite sporting goods store, but I think I will try other stores as well.
It keeps its promise as being waterproof and windproof. But don't have high expectations for keeping warm, you should definitely wear something like fleece underneath. I didn't really expect much from it to keep warm, so it met my expectations. (I used it regularly every day for 1 week)
The leg could be a little wider in the butt, but it's not bad. I really miss the back pocket. One or two knee pockets would also be useful for hiking, which is also not on it

Can i be sure that my trousers are warm enough for hiking in the winter ?
The inside of your trousers is brushed – a tried and tested method for retaining heat. The principle is simple: the component knit is structured to add volume to trap air, which is naturally insulating. It is exactly the same principle as animal fur or feathers.
What is water-repellency and how can you maintain it?
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
How do my trousers protect me from outdoor conditions?
In winter, it is important to be protected from both moisture (snow, rain) and wind, because the latter can significantly cool the body, regardless of whether you are physically active or standing still. We designed your trousers with a windproof and water-repellent outer fabric, to cope with all winter conditions. We also added lace attachments to stop snow from getting inside.
How to dress properly for snow hiking?
To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.
Will your trousers withstand regular use over the long term?
To ensure the durability of our products, we perform tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been conducted on the component of your trousers.
Product testing
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:- a test of the trousers’ material.- a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 5 km/h. These tests validate our design choices and we then adapt the thermal insulation where you need it most.
Storage instructions
Store in a dry, dark place.We recommend you avoid using chemicals such as bleach, which could cause deterioration in the garment’s thermal insulation.
