Super practical for hikes
Fits very well, very pleasant material
I bought this model for the second time because the previous ones were unfortunately too tight 😉 They are great for activities like trekking, in the mountains, etc. They do not absorb water much, if they get wet they dry quickly, comfortable cut, resistant to damage. For me they are also sufficient during winter activities at very negative temperatures, but this is probably a matter of my adaptation to low temperatures.
I have been using 2 pairs intensively for 3 years. The trousers are absolutely sufficient for all hikes. They were in the Caucasus, the Tatras and all the mountains in the area. Until today, no damage, and they were not light. The only downside - the strap is ready to be thrown away - it does not hold at all and needs to be replaced with another one. The rest for this price - great.

COMFORTABLE USEFUL COMFORTABLE
Good quality trousers. Solidly made. They perfectly protect against wind and light rain. Resistant to abrasions and do not restrict movement. They will work best in spring and autumn.

Perfect value for money and size
Great product
Decathlon USA's best product by far. Worn these for winter hiking and mountaineering objectives across the country. The reenforced areas are great for sitting on rocks and protecting from crampons, and I can't state enough how amazing those side ventiliation zips are when the sun comes out and you're regretting wearing those thermal leggings. These pants are surprisingly warm and wind resistant for the weight, and because of the side zips they work for whatever weather you'd encounter. However, I would not recommend these pants for regular hiking in the summer - but these are softshell pants, so that should go without saying. Decathlon, please never discontinue these pants!

These trousers have been designed with 2 different components:- a very durable fabric (277 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (buttocks, knees and the front of the lower leg); - a durable (198 g/m2) and stretchy fabric (12% elastane) on the rest of the trousers provides you with great freedom of movement.
What can be said about the men’s mt900 trousers’ water-repellent features?
These MT900 trousers are water-repellent. They allow water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
What accessories come with the mt900 trekking trousers?
The MT900 trekking trousers are equipped with several pockets:- 2 zipped hand pockets;- two zipped thigh pockets;- 1 zipped back pocket.A hook at the bottom of each trouser leg allows you to hook your trousers over your boots so that you can prevent stones and snow from getting inside. 2 ventilation zips on the sides to improve air circulation. The belt supplied with the trousers can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.
What is the cut of the mt900 trousers?
These trousers have a snug, close-fitting cut. The use of fabric with two-way stretch gives perfect ease of movement. If you prefer a looser fit trouser, choose one size up from your usual size.
