excellent value for money
I tested it on a bike in windy weather, it didn't blow through at all. According to the size selector, I should have gotten a 2XL. But the XL was just enough. Comfortable, warm. The hood could be a little smaller, though. The material is a little rattling, but it doesn't bother me.
I commute from one end of the city to the other by bike. I needed a warm, windproof, waterproof winter jacket that is comfortable enough to cycle in, yet doesn't make me look like the Michelin man... :) I bought the jacket for everyday use, and it worked out perfectly for me! With the right undergarments, I cycled comfortably in it even at -10 degrees in mid-February. For me, the size selector was a positive disappointment: based on the given data (160 cm height, 65 kg, I prefer loose-fitting jackets), the size L jacket worked out great.
Price performance is good, product keeps warm, solid product, I am satisfied but the fabric makes a little noise and sometimes makes you sweat a little bit.
Nice parka, but it's obvious that Decathlon has cut corners on quality. For example, the snaps aren't inserted into the parka. Decathlon has placed small plastic snaps on a piece of fabric sewn onto the parka. This seems quite fragile. It's unfortunate because the parka is well-designed. It's stylish and can be worn hiking as well as for everyday, urban use.

Can i be sure that my jacket is warm enough for my winter hikes?
We developed your jacket for wintry conditions: cold, rain and snow. The insulation is made from 150 g/sqm wadding on the body and 100 g/sqm on the arms combined with a fleece.(synthetic insulating component thanks to the air that it stores in its fibres)We added an inside flap under the zip fastening to block incoming cold air. The toggle tightening at the jacket hem is the finishing touch to ensure your jacket is comfortable down to -10°.
How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?
Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm hood, the Velcro fastenings at the cuffs and the high collar prevent the cold from entering. Two warm pockets in extremely soft fleece protect your hands from the cold.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, this waterproof jacket protects you from a downpour, i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket has a waterproof coating (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 5,000 mm H²O (Schmerbers) before washing.

Your jacket is waterproof thanks to the fully taped seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.We validated the waterproofing with a shower test specially designed to replicate the conditions of a two-hour shower. We also wore it in the field in all weather conditions to make sure that it is suited to your activities.

The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
