nickel to repair a torn down jacket
Used to repair a torn rain/wind jacket. Easy to use. Perfect result, both aesthetically and functionally. I recommend it.
It fits perfectly on the duvet. There are two patches, one larger than 3x3cm and one of 7x7cm. They can also be cut to repair smaller holes.
Perfect for repairing a great black down jacket; shame about the poor choice of colors.
I bought it to repair damage to a decathlon jacket, black. It works, after 2 months nothing has peeled off.
Very thin so it is not too visible on the product to be repaired.

Easy to use, no additional skills or tools required. The patch must be slightly larger than the hole you want to mask. Then just press and wait. It is also worth rounding the edges. On black it is difficult to see where the repair was carried out
It is cheap and easy to use, but one of the included patches is super large and the other is super small. It is recommended to add more sizes for consumers to choose from.
I recently purchased a down jacket and sleeping bag repair kit from Decathlon, and I'd like to share my experience. Unfortunately, I encountered a lot of difficulty installing the patch. The paper backing on which the patch is glued is extremely difficult to remove. Even when trying to lift the edges, they tend to curl and stick to themselves, making installation difficult and ineffective. In my opinion, it would be a good idea for Decathlon to offer a pre-cut backing, similar to that of a band-aid, to make it easier to remove and apply the patch.
I recommend a patch to repair a down vest, it's nice that there are different colors.

Directions for use
Tuck the down or wadding inside the down jacket.Clean the edges of the tear with water and let dry completely. Peel the patch from its white film backing and stick it on the tear.Remove air bubbles by pressing from the center to the contours of the patch.Carefully remove the remaining clear film.Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
Our advice for making the repair last
Ensure the patch is large enough to cover 0.5 inches (1 cm) around the tear. If trimming is needed, cut rounded corners and avoid placing the patch over seams whenever possible.
Compatibility
Not suitable for textile materials other than synthetic fabrics of down jackets and sleeping bags. Not suitable for inflatable mattresses or other inflatable products.
