Shoes

Best cycling shoes I've ever had, even when riding without cleats.

Doesn't hold up.

Beginner maybe... the pros are past you. These shoes are poor quality for those new to mountain biking.

Durable shoes

The shoes are durable. The rim and upper, despite quite intensive use, still look good, the sole is more damaged by the metal pins from the pedals, but this does not affect the comfort of use at all. I rode in them on platforms and in baskets - I don't recommend using them in baskets, the tread caught on the straps. I haven't tested with spd. The shoe is quite comfortable, it depends on personal preferences, in my case it slightly presses the little toe only in the right shoe. I drove about 3000 km in them, I think it's a good shoe for the price.

Very comfortable

Excellent value for money

mtb shoe

basic but comfortable shoe

to begin

for the first MTB excursions before mounting the spds, excellent comfort, little rigidity in the sole, but to gain confidence they are the best, then mount the clips and you can start pedaling with the top clips on

very good product

very satisfied after 2 and a half years

A small price for…

A low price for sufficient quality for me and mountain biking

shoes also for platforms

They've been doing well for 5 years now and they're still doing well

Use to workout in

OK, I know that these are mountain bike shoes, but I use them to work out in. I use them to walk/run on the treadmill 4 days a week. As an avid backpacker and someone who works out 6 days a week, I know good quality shoes as I go through them fairly quickly. I'm very happy with them for my purpose. They have great traction and are comfortable. Though I can't comment about their use for mountain biking, I can attest to them being a good shoe to exercise in.

Shoe

Good product

once set to the super pedal

Once properly adjusted, the adjustment does not change, allows you to walk or take the train without having blocks on your feet, very good product

No complaints

Comfortable shoe, good quality and above all compatible with SPD cleats

Additional Product Information

A hybrid sole? find out more.

Sometimes the terrain will force you to push or carry your mountain bike. We've therefore come up with a hybrid sole inspired by trail running (for grip on the ground) and mountain biking (for grip on the pedals) to keep you comfortable and supported whether walking or cycling. Its heel stiffener and flex grooves keep you comfortable when walking. And its multidirectional lugs drain water and mud whether going uphill or downhill, walking or cycling

Upper and tongue designed for comfort

Why should a pair of mountain bike shoes be less comfortable than a pair of sneakers? As well as the stretchy fabric and special shape on the inside, it has a 3D mesh top, sides and tongue. The fabric is great at wicking perspiration and being comfortable. The heel is also lined with foam. The ROCKRIDER team has made a design choice to put comfort at the heart of its tests and decisions, with no compromises.

Tidy laces

The team has decided to add a small, elasticated tongue to the middle of the laces so that you can keep them tidy and stop them from touching the bike's chain. Smart, eh?

Toe box

The ST 100 shoes have a reinforced toe box: a blend of PU and PES placed in areas that are likely to be struck by stones or bash against rocks.

Choosing your shoe size

You can use our size guide (higher up near the sizing section) to choose your shoe size according to the length and width of your feet. For slightly wider feet, consider getting one size bigger than normal.

What about cleats? find out more

When you start mountain biking, clipless pedals aren't necessarily your priority. This is why these shoes grip the pedals well, even without cleats. And if you want to take the plunge, the sole has a rigid section for fixing cleats without having to adjust everything!Easily attach your SPD cleats thanks to the 2 holes (usually 4) and a reference guide engraved into the surface of the sole.

Which pedals are compatible?

Which cleats and/or pedals can you use with your shoes? For the best fit, use the following models:-BTWIN SPD DUAL 500-BTWIN SPD CLIPLESS 100-BTWIN SPD CLIPLESS 520-SHIMANO SPD DUAL M324-SHIMANO SPD CLIPLESS M520-SHIMANO SPD CLIPLESS XT-M780Compatibility with ENDURO / FREERIDE clipless platform pedals is not guaranteed (e.g. B'Twin SPD Clipless 540, Shimano SPD Clipless Enduro XT-M8020, Shimano SPD Clipless M424). For these pedals, you will need to try them first.

The story behind the st 100 shoes

Here's something we noticed: when you start mountain biking, you spend some time on your bike but some next to it. To give you a shoe that is equally comfortable for walking and cycling, our 4-person team spent 2 years designing, prototyping, and performing lab and field tests with 50 different people. The result is a shoe that gives you grip when walking and when riding on mountain bike trails.

Our team's advice

We ftll leave you with a few tips from our mountain bike design team: InchEven without cleats, these shoes grip the pedal well so you can push off without worrying about slipping and having the pedal whack you in the shin. It fts also a chance to try out cleats without breaking the bank. To avoid any nasty falls, tuck the loops of your laces under the elastic band in the middle of the foot! Inch

Product testing

Our engineers always have real riders test all our products in real conditions. These tests round out our lab tests and let us validate all our products before they hit store shelves.
