unheated

I decided on it based on the reviews. I needed a pair of not-too-thick yet warm underwear pants that fit the body. it met all the criteria, except for the warmth - as it turned out during use... whoever took it for outdoor work, I don't know what they were thinking, but for me it lets the cold through at 5 degrees disturbingly when worn under a pair of windproof and water-repellent cross-country ski pants. in minus 3 degrees, it is particularly uncomfortable even during continuous and intensive walking... I will not return it, because it will be fine in a closed space under jeans, but being outside in the cold outside in it is suicide....

Comfortable underpants, pleasant to wear, I also use them for hiking and cross-country skiing. They are light and packable, so great as a spare extra layer in your backpack for travel, hand luggage on the plane, etc.

I recommend

Testing a week in the Moroccan Atlas to climb Toubkal. I started by sleeping 2 nights with it where I was absolutely not cold at 3500m altitude then I wore it. Seems to have resisted well

Perfect

keeps you warm (with temperatures between 5 and -12) no smell (despite the effort while hiking) and does not itch. Used for a 15-day trip without any worries Very good value for money

Warm comfort even in everyday life in the city

I loved it! Its abrasion resistance is particularly good; it does not puncture or tear even with everyday use

Practical in bivouac mode…

Practical in bivouac mode because it is easy to carry and can be used under short shorts (in place of leg warmers) and in the evening at the stopover, typically to prepare the tent and before getting into the sleeping bag. It can also be used as "trousers" for traveling at the end of the trip.

Product testing

In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team, tested these tights for 4 days in the southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
