Alright

Comfortable to wear in all circumstances during a cool outing.

Good but not exceptional

A garment that does its job under a glove. If used alone they are only good in light winds. They certainly cannot be used alone as the thermal insulation is a bit poor.

Gloves

The gloves are very warm and pleasant to the touch, ideal for winter trips, but after a few days in the Tatras, unfortunately, holes appeared on the fingers. It's a pity, because I expected better durability. Despite this, they provide warmth well, especially in colder conditions.

Exactly what it should do

Great also special material for smartphone operation

Inner touch gloves

Good glove to use as an inner glove of an exposed outer glove or to use as a single glove on not very cold days as a casual wear.

Under gloves

They are very big!!! I am 1m70 and the XS-S are too big... They get damaged quickly.

good gloves but with low durability

I was able to use them for 13 days in Norway in very cold weather. I found that for the thickness, they kept you relatively warm (but you have to bring real mittens as well). They are not windproof at all, that's what sometimes gives the impression that they are not very warm, but that's normal, they are under gloves. The touchscreen works relatively well, it's not perfect but it's ok. Here the biggest problem is that after 10 days, we could already see the signs of wear, and at the end of the stay, I found myself with a hole in my thumb and almost a hole on another finger. I find that for the price and its use of 2 weeks max, it's a bit disappointing. I can hardly use them anymore because I have two fingers that stick out ^^ durability level meh.

practical gloves

They insulate well and are warm. They are ideal for using a smartphone.

Glove reinforcement (thumb)

We have been using these gloves for years. One improvement would be to reinforce the thumb (nail side) as this tends to get damaged quickly.

good gloves for the whole season

they absorb shock well, your hands don't go numb during long rides

Not bad

Solid gloves, touchscreen function sometimes not perfect but sufficient enough.

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?

A glove's dexterity corresponds to its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as bare hands. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.

Warmth

When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 37°F (3°C) of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.

How is usage temperature measured?

All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to -4°F (20°C) and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.

How to properly protect your hands from the cold

By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.

Origin of the wool

We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves

We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 86°F (30°C) on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer.

Warning!

These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
