It should be cheaper. I highly recommend it for sports, but not very pretty for everyday wear.
Thin and warm.
I bought it for autumn, but I also use it on warmer winter days. It doesn't bite your head, protects well from the wind, and takes up next to no space, so it's worth having it with you at all times.

Origin of the wool
We only use wool from Merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing.
