Hat that protects well with gusset for ventilation, made of fine material, dries quickly. Cord to hold around the neck.
Useless
A lightweight, compact hat. Fits well on the head and has already weathered a few storms :-)

It arrived very quickly and Decathlon has improved a lot in this regard. However, the brim of the hat is very soft, it looks like the sides are melting because they hang so low. Since they practically cover your ears, the heat gets too much and even hinders your vision. Either you leave it up, not protecting your face, or you let it fall so low that it almost covers your eyes. As for the waterproofing, I only got caught in a light rain, almost drizzle, and it held up well. The cord helps keep the hat in place in case of strong winds. However, I don't recommend it to anyone. I bought it for some trails this summer and ended up going back to using a cheap visor because it was more functional. For the price, I expected much more. It's not worth the price.
Good looking, practical and comfortable
Lightweight and breathable. Great waterproof hat to shield off the UV rays when hiking outdoors
It protects your head, face and neck from the sun and breathes well...it doesn't make you hot.
I use it mainly for kayaking. Excellent.
I placed the order the first time and they didn't deliver it and provided a coupon so I could try again, I placed the order a second time and the same problem occurred, but to make matters worse I'm not getting any support or contact from anyone, I've already opened several requests and nothing!

The sides are too flexible, so it doesn't stay as a hat, rather as a cap or something. The ventilation is bad - even in windy weather, if it is hot - it will be hot, not enough air coming through. I had to reattach the ties using another knot - at some point the original knot untied on both sides.
besides being breathable it also has its own style, highly recommended

How does Decathlon measure waterproofing? At Decathlon, we don't just consider the intrinsic quality of the component (in this instance, a fabric with a 20,000 Schmerbers rating) but we also test the waterproof qualities of the finished product in an environmental chamber reproducing different precipitation levels. This hat will protect you from a 12 cm rain shower for 2 hours, or 60 L of water per hour and per square metre:quite a downpour!

The ripstop fabric is a mesh-type fabric. The warp and weft design helps ensure durability and prevent potential tears.
