How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

Top product, the design is super nice and the jacket fits the person well.
Very versatile 3 in 1 jacket with many pockets, satisfied with our purchase. The little extra would have been if the hood was retractable or removable.
Used in Denmark, it keeps you warm, insulates you adequately from the wind and offers excellent waterproofing. The presence of ventilation zips in critical points is a pro. The possibility of using only the down jacket or only the windbreaker makes it a universal product.
Very warm and waterproof. Use them daily in the cold season.
It gets dirty easily with animals and the lining comes off at the wrists.

I like the color and it can be worn even without hiking clothes....
I have not used in the rain yet so have not rated the waterproofing. The taping on the zips is tricky to navigate with gloves on, but I realise they are designed like that to keep water out, so its a reasonable trade-off. It was nicce and warm on a chilly walk, but with only a couple of layers underneath it felt close fitting, but not tight. I am over 6 foot but not a bulky guy, so I chose the XL size for the arm length - I imagined it would be a bit loose. If you're a big guy I would definitely try it on in store first, or you may find it a bit tight once you have some winter layers on. Other than warning I am very pleased with it so far, I bought it to replace a 19 yr old coat so I hope it lasts as long.
very good quality jacket
Jacket tested for 2 months. At zero degrees remains warm and comfortable. Effective waterproofing. 2 downsides: not easy to put on due to the 2 layers and not a great look at the zippers which would have deserved to be hidden by a flap.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.

This jacket was first tested in the laboratory, on a whole set of factors (warmth, waterproofing, durability).
