I bought this bag for a first 4-day trek with a total of 12 kg (with the bag). The bag is very easy to adjust and the different accessible parts make it easy to access what you are looking for. However, I have a little trouble getting my second arm through when I put it on my back.

This hiking bag is great, it is very practical and looks good quality with a very reasonable price. The storage is very practical and the system for adjusting it is pleasant.
The backpack met expectations, it is spacious enough and has well-designed accessories.
70 liters is enough for me. The product is very comfortable and ergonomic.
Very comfortable used for long journeys with full load
Excellent value. Really wish both sides had a water bottle pocket and hip pouch. Otherwise an excellent pack overall. Shoulder straps could be a tad thicker too.
I use it regularly during weekend trips to the mountains. It holds a trekking backpack, sleeping bag, inflatable mat, hammock, food, clothes. Very wide shoulder straps and easy adjustment, making it comfortable to wear even for several hours a day. A convenient external bottle holder is also a plus.
Comfortable to wear products
The parts with clips and pockets that come to your waist are like hard cardboard. It rubs and your waist can even get sore after 2-3 hours. I wouldn't recommend it for long walks. Just to get it out of the car and carry your bag to the campsite.
One of the best backpacks, for a reduced budget. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. It already comes with a waterproof cover for protection. It could have more pockets/compartments to make organization easier.

Easyfit system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the back height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling on one single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag2. Buckle and tighten the belt3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top) It’s adjusted!
Capacity
70 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of just a few %.
Dying process
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we have opted for mass pigmentation called Inchdope dye Inch integrating the color pigments from the initial thread manufacture. This process reduces this backpack’s CO2 emissions by 35% compared to the previous model.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers want them to be brightly coloured?
The grey color is neutral so uses less dye. We also use a “bi-ton” dyeing process where only one thread in every two is dyed. This dyed yarn is also made from a bulk dyeing process which incorporates the color pigments from the yarn manufacturing phase onwards. Forclaz is committed to improving the environmental impact of its products through these actions.
