super warm and very light down jacket for treks
Practical to use, and for a reasonable price. As for the down jacket, there is a great brand that I can't find anymore. Too bad.
I bought this jacket with the intention of using it in the city, not in many cases at -10°C. I've been using it for two weeks and I'm happy with it, even if it has a few minuses. Pros: - warm - light - fits well - takes up little space in the backpack, but be careful I DO NOT recommend it for winter hiking in the mountains at temperatures of -10°C Cons: - It has no hood - It has no inner pockets. For me this aspect is very disturbing.
Good product. Light and comfortable to wear. Armpit not tight like many down jackets nowadays. Perfect, what I was looking for
Lightweight, comfortable to wear, nice color. My 16 year old son likes it very much.
I just like that it has no internal pocket and above all a hood
Down jacket worth the money. Excellent heat input. Good fit. Only flaw: a bit bulky.
Quality
The only criticism of this jacket is the lack of interior pockets, otherwise happy with my purchase
Very warm with a collar that comes up well to protect the neck. I would have liked an inside pocket in addition to the one on the front.
The down jacket has an excellent quality-price ratio.
My feeling not comfortable in these
Good, but I find the temperatures forecast a bit optimistic
I use it every day in early spring, late autumn and winter. It's warm. If it were a bit longer and the collar didn't stick out so much from the neck, it would be perfect.
After the first few months of use it's great, we'll see how durable it is over time, for now I'm very happy

How warm is this padded jacket?
This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of -10°C during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 5 km/h wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. Its comfort temperature is 0°C in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 90% down and 10% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 660 CUIN (international standard) or over.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it during prolonged exposure to the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, but this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. But the less you wash it, the more it will retain its thermal insulation and water repellency. Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
A snag? this is how to repair your down jacket
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
