A very versatile backpack

Backpack used for climbing, ski touring and mtb (enduro), and in each of these sports it works great. For everyday use it holds a laptop for work. The layer (silicone I think) provides quite good water resistance, but it is worth having some kind of rain cover because the zippers are not waterproof. On the back there is a pocket that can hold even a 3l water bladder, or a d3o protector.

Ideal for summer hiking

For a day hike without snow, the volume of the bag is sufficient. On the other hand, for winter alpine outings with snowshoes, crampons, ice axe, helmet, rope, warm clothes, this bag is much too small, it quickly reaches its limit and becomes uncomfortable to carry... The hip belt is too thin, the lack of padding is felt if the bag is too loaded. I exchanged for the Simond 33 liter much more suitable for winter runs.

climbing bag

My daughters have been using this model since it came out as a climbing bag for going to the gym or for approaching a cliff or multi-pitch route. Big enough to carry all the day's essentials.

A good mid-range bag

A good mid-range bag, it's a shame that some straps don't match the colors

Fantastic

Fantastic backpack, I use it on cliffs, long routes and for mountaineering. Very comfortable and practical, only a side bottle holder is missing.

Mountaineering 22

It's gone. The older Simond backpack was more ergonomic. Removing one shoulder strap and turning the bag forward doesn't really allow you to access the pockets. The top small pocket (wallet, key) can't be reached. Packing: if there are things in the front pocket, then packing in the large part / taking something out from the bottom is very difficult. The back part seems loose and soft to me, which can be uncomfortable. The use of materials seems good for this much money, but I've only been using it for a month. During all this time, the Simond inscription has partially fallen off, but who cares? Buckles are good. Straps too, although the shoulder strap slips on certain materials, but the chest buckle is there to counteract this. Quality seems good, very good considering the price.

Very light and practical

Does the job very well! Used for short hikes or as a supplement for long ones when there are two of you.
