Good product

Used for multipitch climbing and hiking daypack. Great for the climbing and packable day sack. Removable back foam would be nice to make an even more packable option. Also used as extra day pack for business trip as fitted nicely inside hand luggage pack. Did rub on waist at base of pack when used for 3 days on the trot as padding limited but I guess there has be some downside to such a lightweight pack.

Long lasting, strong and truly multi-use

I have it for over 3 years and today I collected the second one. Mainly it is used on my motorcycle rides, for commutes on the bike and off the bike and anytime I need to take something with me that fits. I was carrying many different items, water bladder including. It is indeed very comfortable with many ways you can set it up to fit your body like a glove. It super useful and I love it, but it has its own issues, hence only 4 stars. First: annoying thing is you cannot put it up upright on its bottom. It is angled and even if full, it won't stay up, it always falls. Even if you put it against the wall and if floor is smooth, it will slide and fall. Second: the rubber bands, those to hold excess of stipes nicely tacked together. They do the great job but .... only for a very short time. The rubber must be of pretty poor quality, as all of them simply deteriorated, even if they were not moved, within first few months of use. I found out today, it has 5 years warranty, so I guess if I kept the bloody receipt ... Third: it is not waterproof and likely because of that, my first one was supplied with a rain cover. The one I got today, has none of that. The rest is perfect and the reason I had to replace it, is a wear & tear but hey, 3.5 years of daily use?!?! It is a very good one.

essential for excursions

This bag replaces my old Bionnassay 22, purchased in 2006. I hope it will be as durable (I should point out that the previous one was used for ski touring, hiking, cycling, and day trips around town, and ended up with only a few holes in the corners). The look is nicer, the gear loops are practical, and the zippered pockets are great. Two drawbacks, however: - the shoulder straps and back seem less breathable; I'll wait to test it this summer in warm conditions. - the bag doesn't stand upright due to the shape of the bottom.
