I take the rain jacket with me when camping as an emergency jacket, and it's perfectly adequate for that purpose. It's practical because it folds up small and can be stored away without taking up much space.

Cool jacket

I bought this jacket in Decathlon mainly for light hikes and running on cooler, windier days. I have to admit that I was really positively surprised. It is ultralight, you can barely feel it on you, and yet it protects you from the wind. The waterproofness is also good – it doesn’t get wet in light rain, although in a downpour you would probably need something stronger. The biggest advantage is its compactness – you can easily roll it up and throw it into a backpack, it takes up almost no space. The material is thin but durable, and the cut is well-fitting, so it doesn’t flap in the wind. I tested it in Central Park in New York on a cool, windy morning and it worked great – I felt comfortable even in stronger gusts. I would improve the ventilation a little, because it can get warm during an intense run, but overall it’s a great choice for this price. If someone is looking for a light jacket for changeable weather, it’s definitely worth it.
