Does washing sleeping bag damages its quality
Perfect
I hv waited for the time so that i can reach at 0 Degree and gave my honest review , this sleeping bag is super lite and easy to carry but this does not define its quality , Currently i am at 3 degree and inside a barrack which is made up of form like objects .at this temperature i hv one garam chadar as a bed sheet and i m wearing inner of decathlon which cost around 1000 for pair , and i feeling like if I keep myself inside the sleeping bag more than a hour i will start sweating this is the quality decathlon is providing . This is trustable brand thats why i shopped for 11k for my trip guys dont hesitate and go for it . If in future u will hv founded that this sleeping is worthless and this review is wrong came back to my review and dislike my review but firstly try it . This will not disappoint u

What is the temperature rating?
All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 - 1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.
What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.
An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard
In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower.We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.
Some advice to consider before you get into your bag
Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught. Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.

We use 2 layers of overlapping wadding: - One of 115 g/sqm, 100% polyester,- and one of 150 g/sqm, 100% polyester.The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibres that make it highly compressible and highly durable.Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight.It retains its warmth even when wet.

Product testing
All our sleeping bags undergo mechanical tests that test the performance and resistance of the sleeping bag to guarantee better sleep and recuperation (thermal resistance, resistance to abrasion, comfort, etc). We also carry out many tests in the field, in real conditions.
Storage instructions
You can easily store your bag by stuffing it loosely into its cover, feet section first. To keep it fluffed up & ensure good thermal performance, remove from its cover, extend, store it in a dry place.
