Good
Good items in the store, I was satisfied with the purchases
The problem with Decathlon is that the evolution of products is to the detriment of their use. I still have a fond memory of the 2015 model (beige), which was just perfect. Then the one that followed was less rigid but lighter, so with a fairly short lifespan. This one takes up the codes of the old model dear to my heart, but with many flaws, and not the least: - the cut at the waistband needs to be reviewed: when you bend down, the pants go down; - the pockets are demonic: you will lose your objects that you deign to put in them. These close ones are simple hand rests; - disappearance of the zip pocket which was essential. Example 1: during my hikes, I constantly have to readjust this clothing when the terrain gains altitude. Example 2: during a recent outing, I lost the keys to my vehicle which had escaped from my pocket during a steep climb. It took me 30 minutes to find them.. Also, my phone regularly falls out of my pocket every time I drive. The quality is good, the finish unfortunately is catastrophic.
The best quality-price ratio
Very fast drying even without sun. Light and practical, for now the zippers are holding up.
The fabric is strong and durable but has almost no stretch. It is not very suitable for climbing etc. but it is very good for walking, it dries quickly. I use it while cycling and I am happy with it.

The snap button on a pocket broke on first use. It probably won't be the last...
Suitable for all temperatures
I use them for camping with kids and for hiking. Perfect for when the weather changes as you can take the pant legs off or on without taking off your shoes. The pockets are very useful.
The reason I deducted points is that it doesn't fit my cut perfectly. If you get a size that's too big or too loose, it's a bit tight. But it's comfortable, stylish and the parts are detachable, which is great for hot summer days.
I believe the product can be further improved by adding additional back pockets. It can be secured with clasps or velcro to prevent ur wallets or other items from dropping out.
Two in one, you wear it and you have a double option shorts if it's hot, but also a real pant that protects you and gives you freedom of movement. Really top.
Lightweight and very practical thanks to the possibility of becoming shorts.

What is the water repellent feature of the component?
These trousers have water-repellent inserts (knees, buttocks) that let the water slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.The water repellent property prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast but will not keep you dry under steady rain.To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8493660). The water-repellent properties can be restored by warming the trousers in a tumble dryer at low heat for 10 minutes
Functions
To make it easy to identify the leggings without hesitation, we have used a red zip puller on the right leg and grey on the left. So you won't confuse the two! Partially elasticated lower legs to fit your trekking boots better!

What about maintenance?
Always wash the trousers with the lower legs zipped on in order to preserve a uniform colour throughout the product.
Product testing
These trousers have been tested and validated in the field in real conditions. They were worn for 5 weeks in spring 2019 by several people who went trekking in the Canary Islands for 2 weeks, followed by 3 weeks on the GR10 route in the Pyrenees.
