Convenient and useful
The jacket appealed to me because of its color. The fact that I don't freeze in it despite my long upper body and that it is comfortable makes it a loyal companion on cold days. In the fall I was able to remove the lining, but now in winter I wear it half open on warmer days and closed when it's windy. So far everything's been great.
Practical jacket for hiking with a removable fleece which allows it to be used as a windbreaker or rain jacket to protect yourself from a moderate downpour. It may be missing chest or sleeve pockets. Fitted in a flattering way.

Very practical, warm and very waterproof, the only downside is the texture of the outer fabric catches dust, dirt and so on very well. And it keeps it very well.... Used for riding outdoors, I don't fear heavy downpours or frost.

With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, the 3-in-1 SH500 waterproof jacket protects you from a storm, i.e. 30 cm of rain in 3 hours.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded down jacket is quick and easy to remove, thanks to its zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.
Outside jacket pockets
2 hand pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.
Adjustable hood
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.
Other adjustments
The bottom of the jacket is adjusted via an elastic cord. The end of the sleeves adjusts with a system of self-sealing bands.
Sizing information
Standard cut. The jacket's inner volume is designed to fit over a high-tech second layer such as a micro-fleece.
