How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

protects very well from rain and cold. this is the second one I bought, no worries with the first one, even allows you to remove the interior part for spring or fall.

3 jackets in one. Very good protection against the cold and rain. Can be used in mid-season if the inner lining is removed.
I am a licensed mountain climber. I walked about 12 km in mountainous areas such as Kızılcahamam and Gerede in Ankara once a week. Even at -12 degrees, in areas where it rained and snowed from time to time, I walked continuously in the open for four or five hours. The jacket is windproof and waterproof, has enough pockets, and prevents wind from entering through the skirt and head thanks to the drawstrings. There are also drawstrings on the skirt of the removable puffer jacket. I take the puffer jacket, which has two pockets, off during the walk and put it in my bag. You can also use this jacket for daily use. It is breathable, and it will not be a burden on you thanks to the different weaving and fabric structure in some areas. It is not heavy. It quickly drains water if it comes into contact with water. The zippers have waterproof tapes. I am very pleased, it would be a miracle if you find it somewhere else for this price and with these features.

I recommend going maybe 1 size smaller. I bought size M, the inner warm jacket came to me as size S/M which was OK, but the outer waterproof jacket is more like L maybe even XL, unwearable for me 😐😐

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.
