I found the model with a stand-up collar and zipper very comfortable to wear, both as an intermediate layer and as a light sweater.
I almost never wear it because it itches and is not at all pleasant to wear.

The qualities of merino with a superb color.
The truth is that merino wool has been a real discovery. I go out a lot and I have to carry everything in a backpack, so the issue of space and weight management is a priority. These garments are comfortable, warm, breathable and dry quickly. They do not retain odor. This means that you can reduce the number of garments and they also do not take up any space. I think it is worth the investment. P.S.: be very careful when washing it so that it does not lose quality.

How have we enhanced the durability of our t-shirts made with merino wool?
We have used a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which the polyamide threads coat the Merino wool fibres. This protects them from rubbing and cuts without affecting their properties.
Odour control
The components used reduce bad odours. Laboratory tested according to ISO 17299-3This means you can carry less clothing when trekking!
Reducing the freezing effect
After any physical effort that involves a lot of perspiration, wool helps to preserve the body temperature while synthetic fabrics cause the temperature to drop faster. The unpleasant cooling or Inchfreezing effect Inch is therefore reduced by the merino wool.

How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool t-shirt at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat. Product testing
The Trek 500 Zip T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, who are independent of Decathlon, were supported by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer and myself, the product manager.For 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with some fine days of walking and a number of nights in a bed-and-breakfast or bivouac.We used this test to validate the product in use.
