Cheap, but very narrow fit

Far too narrow for a size 4, & definitely not a 5. Felt as though there was little cushioning on the footbed. Returned after trying on.

Great value for money.

I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend and she loved it. Excellent value for money. It's simple, but lightweight and has the ideal shape for trekking. As for comfort, it's pretty good for the price. If you want to improve it, just upgrade it by changing the insole for a better one. On top of that, it's beautiful, much better than many other random brands that you can find out there.

Exceeded expectations

Versatile boot, both for cold weather and spring mountain hikes.

The amount of cushioning is not as good as the more expensive models and they are really not suitable for asphalt. After only 15 kilometers off-road and at most 3 km on asphalt, the sole started to peel in one place. On the other hand, they are cheap, but I do not recommend them.

Perfect for me

Bought them 2 and a half years ago, I've been walking with them for over a year (hyperlaxity problems) for my daily commute (about 1h30 per day), and they're perfect; plus, very good value for money. I'm going to buy them again because mine are getting tired.

It didn't happen

It's pretty bad. You feel all the stones.

I recommend

Short tongue

The shoe is comfortable and light, but definitely not for wet conditions. The short tongue is its main drawback. When you step into wet grass, you can almost always count on getting the entire interior wet.

Great shoes

My daughter goes to scouts, they often walk in the forest and mountains and these shoes are great, I recommend them but you have to impregnate them because they are not waterproof

Additional Product Information

Composition

Outer sole of: 100.0% Styrene Butadiene Styrene ; Upper of: 56.5% Polyester, 43.5% Polyurethane ; Lining and sock of: 50.0% Polyester, 50.0% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

Grippy soles

Designed in our laboratories, we use a special rubber formulation to optimize the grip and traction of this sole. We systematically research the best compromise to progress on muddy ground (grip) as on dry ground (traction).

Designed for hiking use

Our hiking boots are designed for use on hiking trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to walking on loose trails (e.g. unpaved forest paths) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). Road use (tarmac) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking.

Durability tests

Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: attachment of eyelets and webbing, assembly, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.

Comfort

Our country walking boots promise one thing and that’s heightened comfort for the wearer; to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and the heel pad in the same material. We have also made the insole removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).

Which socks are the best for quechua nh100 mid boots?

These shoes are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. Preferably use the Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.

Product testing

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing quality products for your treks, and bringing you all our expertise.

Storage instructions

We recommend you store your boots in a dry, dark and, if possible, ventilated place.
