In November 2017, a few backpackers (men and women) with part of the Forclaz design team tested this down jacket for 4 days in the Southern French Alps. We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for use in mountain backpacking.

Easy To Maintain
Compared to feathered down-jackets, our Trek 100 Jacket is much easier to maintain—you can throw it in the wash with the rest of your clothes. Rest assured, none of the down will be lost.
Easy To Pack
The Trek 100 Jacket is filled with a synthetic down which gives it a better warmth-to-weight ratio than standard duck down fill. The jacket is able to pack into its own pocket and end up the size of a loaf of bread.
