Touch does not work. Bad resistance

The touch side does not work. Does not work and rather very bad. The touch surface is too small not the right place and it is missing. Too bad and the resistance of the grip part is not very effective.

Fragile: several fingers pierced in 1 month

After less than a month of moderate use (worn 5-6 times), the gloves have holes in several fingers and no longer fulfill their function.

used individually and also as under gloves. they do their job

under gloves

I was hoping for more warmth, but ok. After 2 weeks of use, had to redo a seam.

Very thin and warm gloves

Used under ski gloves, these gloves are very thin and effective against the cold. My daughter is delighted.

They heat up very well

I bought these because I wear merino wool and it has been a great decision, for every day you get hot quickly at any time, the touch screen works well but you can't write fluidly. What I didn't like at all is the silicone-like grid that it has, which I understand is for more grip but after two weeks of use it was completely destroyed. I would like them much more if they removed it from the design.

Under gloves

I don't know, they didn't really convince me, I expected more warmth, in some ways the fact of having double gloves, blocking the circulation, made the cold worse.

Comfortable to wear in…

Comfortable to wear as an undergarment or gloves alone

Super practical

Super practical, warm and light

perfect for trekking and ski mountaineering

I use them for both trekking and ski mountaineering, fantastic to use alone but also as an under glove, I highly recommend them for those who often have cold hands

Disappointing

These undergloves were purchased for skiing but unfortunately did not perform up to expectations. Day 1: the plastic-like layer between the index finger and thumb comes loose Day 2: the seams at the tip of the middle finger come loose Day 3: return request at Decathlon due to surprisingly poor durability

very comfortable and pleasant they do the job

These Merino gloves are a great choice for any trekking enthusiast! They are incredibly soft, lightweight and comfortable, and the natural merino wool provides excellent thermoregulation - your hands stay warm even on cold days, while not overheating with greater exertion. An additional advantage is their flexibility and good fit to the hand, which allows for freedom of movement and comfort of wearing both on their own and under thicker gloves. The material is pleasant to the touch and breathable, and also wicks away moisture well. A plus for the material on the fingers that allows you to use your phone. Perfect for winter hikes, trekking in the mountains or everyday use on colder days. Definitely worth buying! 🔥💯

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?

A glove's dexterity corresponds to its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as bare hands. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.

Warmth

When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 37°F (3°C) of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.

How is usage temperature measured?

All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to -4°F (20°C) and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.

How to properly protect your hands from the cold

By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.

Origin of the wool

We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves

We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 86°F (30°C) on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer.

Warning!

These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
