Fabulous liner gloves

Great as inner glove when cycling or worn alone when less cold. Have been using for a few months and are going strong.

Pattern issue

The index finger is constantly turning and the touch area coincides with the seam. There is no point in being tactile anymore

Solid glove liners

Warm, wicking glove liners perfect for under a ski glove. The grip on the palm though does come off easy if using hands alot

Very thin but surprisingly warm

They are very thin but I was surprised at the warmth of them. Also very soft and comfortable. Will fit under other gloves unless your gloves are very small fit.

Size

I’m very happy with overall quality of the gloves and totally recommend them! Great value for this price. However, I ordered small size via website which was the one of three options (S, M, L). Turned out to be way to big… I was wearing them for couple weeks and piped into the shop where I found XXS small which fit just perfectly!! Such a shame I spent money unnecessary in the first place.

Does the job but broke quickly

It does make my hand slightly warmer when taking it out of the mittens, and I could use my phone with it pretty easily. But I guess it’s too thin and got a hole at the thumb within 2-3 weeks of constant use.

Good gloves as liners or on their own

Excellent liner gloves. Very thin so unless you're gloves are super tight, they'll fit underneath. Adds that bit of extra warmth that might be the difference between wearing a 'medium' glove or heavyweight fleece gloves with less dexterity. I also wear mine on their own in cool weather, when a proper glove will be too warm but my hands will feel a little chilly out in the open after a while. They're not the most durable, simply because they're a liner, so I make sure to be careful I'm not rubbing them on anything that might put holes in them (such as crossing a stile).

Great purchase

Very happy with my purchase. I suffer very cold hands even at temperatures others would find ok. These really helped me get and keep that extra bit of warmth in

Excellent glove liner

Surprising warm for a thin glove liner. On own or add any outer glove.

amazing gloves but wear out v fast

Brilliant gloves, very warm and comfy but holes appear within days of wear and they will last 1 season at most. I mended mine eventually adding reinforcement on the fingertips. Decathlon please look at making these last longer or adding more reinforcement on finger tips? Good for the price.

Fantastic LINER Gloves

As the item description says, these are liner gloves i.e. designed to be worn underneath other gloves or mittens. The merino wool gives reasonable warmth for the weight and wicks sweat efficiently away form the skin. They have touch screen tips which work ok on my phone (not for fingerprint unlocks obviously) and small areas of grippy material on the palms to provide a bit of abrasion resistance. Excellent value for money.

Just what was needed

Perfect fit, colour, feel and quality for such an incredible price

Handy extra warmth

These gloves are great for either mild weather or under other gloves for extra warmth. They still allow great movement under my florclaz hiking gloves which I use on my bike. Haven't tested them in extreme cold yet as I got them just after the very cold weather.

Merino glove liners

Good enough to wear on own. Fit my long fingers and nails comfortably. Second skin. I will wear under ski gloves and neoprene gloves. Will purchase another pair as hard to find this quality for the price.

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?

A glove's dexterity corresponds to its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as bare hands. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.

Warmth

When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 37°F (3°C) of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.

How is usage temperature measured?

All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to -4°F (20°C) and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.

How to properly protect your hands from the cold

By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.

Origin of the wool

We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves

We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 86°F (30°C) on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer.

Warning!

These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
