Light and practical
I use it regularly when there is sun. Comfortable, light and not bulky. I have two. This is the second one I bought.

Ideal for summer and walking
We bought it to use in summer camps. My wife and I use it. It is a very comfortable, lightweight and really protective product. I recommend it to everyone. In fact, all the campers around us have ordered it and they are using it. Thank you Decathlon.
I used the product during a 1-week Lycian walk. It was good at protecting my face and neck because it was wide. Since I sweat a lot, there were stains on the white. I first hand washed it, it took a while and left a very light mark. I then washed it in the machine, it has no problems now. It is very useful. But it looked a little misshapen on me.

What criteria must a cap meet in order to qualify as ”uv-protective”?
UV protection standards for hats are very specific: The fabric must of course be anti-UV (UPF index greater than 50), but this is not enough to claim the finished product is anti-UV. The hat must also have a wide brim and flap which fully protects the face and the back of the neck. The Trek 500 hat meets these requirements so you can go hiking with complete peace of mind: you are perfectly protected!
How is polyamide more resistant?
Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Moreover, microorganisms and mould don’t trouble the synthetic fibre!
How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?
The product is machine washed 3 times then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight.This hat scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight in less than 80 minutes!
