Essential for hiking on rainy days. Initially I thought it was letting water through because it was damp inside, but it was actually my sweat, and the proof is that the backpack on my back, where I supposedly got the most rain, was dry. What I like most is the fact that it has no sleeves, which allows for more freedom of movement, and it has press studs for better adaptation to the arm.

Spacious for average female size and easy to use and to be kept
Sleeves too short, but it's a poncho after all, poor hood adjustment. I wouldn't buy it again, I'd pay more for something better. Plenty of space for a backpack.

Hi, I bought this expecting it to be waterproof; however, it leaks at the neck. Very dissapointmenting. Water comes in through the zipper, even though there is velcro to close it

I bought the item in the largest size so that it falls to my calf. It stays waterproof - in rain and wind. You stay dry and warm underneath. And you don't sweat unnecessarily! Excellent.
The cover is very resistant, with a thick material, and it is large, so it can protect your arms, backpack and a good part of your legs. I bought it to go to a concert and I highly recommend it.

Waterproofing of the garment
this garment has been validated in a shower test under 4.8'' of rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our range of rain ponchos and capes does not have breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product when you walk at a gentle relaxed pace rather than a fast hike, in order to reduce sweating!
Component water resistance
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes).All the Forclaz ponchos and capes have a water repellent treatment.
Storage instructions
Make sure it is completely dry before folding and storing in its storage bag for long periods.
