I use it on my motorbike on 45-minute journeys, both in the city and on the motorway, and the jacket stays in place perfectly; no water gets through at all, even in heavy pouring rain.
The fact that there is no zipper across the entire front prevents one person from putting the poncho on alone.

Without the backpack, the look is a bit unusual, but the cape is rainproof. Its spaciousness allows you to hide the dog between your legs when you stop.

I used it very comfortably with my 45 liter Lowepro bag. Also, I am 170cm tall. I can use it very well.
After a bunch of raincoats and ponchos in which I got completely soaked, this one is finally satisfactory. I take it hiking because a very large backpack fits under it.
In rainy and windy weather, it is not worth wearing a rain hat. This poncho allows you to carry your backpack without getting wet. The front pockets are open and provide access to the interior, if you have a jacket or coat underneath the poncho.
Protects well from rain
great product. I can only recommend it. I used it at a fishing tournament where it rained from 9:00 to 16:00, the raincoat protected me from the rain up to my knees.

I am a courier and I use it on my motorcycle in heavy or light rain. It is a very nice and comfortable product and it is waterproof.
Very good cover, protects well and is very solid.
Having a bag cover is a real lifesaver. Having a rain poncho that covers you from head to calf and your hiking bag at the same time is great! The real benefit is the perfect waterproofing (except for jumping in a big puddle) that prevents moisture from finding its way through your bag straps. It's a must-have for outings in uncertain weather! I recommend going up a size.

Fit and sizing information
Good coverage for hikers between 157 and 173 cm in height (size S/M) or 174 and 190 cm (size L/XL) and carrying a 60L maximum backpack. Hood can be tightened thanks to elasticated drawcord and stopper toggle. The ends of the sleeves are cuffed with an elastic binding that prevents water from entering your sleeves. This rain cape is easy to get on and off thanks to its long front zip which slips easily over the head.
Additional recommended products
To complete your outfit, we recommend overtrousers or waterproof gaiters to fully protect your lower legs. For greater breathability, the waterproof hat can also be attached to the poncho!
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
Waterproofing of the garment
This garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 litres of water / m² / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our rain poncho and cape ranges do not come with a waterproof/breathable membrane.Therefore, we recommend calm, gentle use to reduce perspiration rather than fast hiking!
Component water resistance
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
Care
We recommend you use a re-waterproofing product (spray or liquid)To renew the fabric's water repellent-properties and optimise the garment's performance throughout its lifetime.
